MLP Ideas Regarding "The Greatest Showman" · 7:08am Dec 27th, 2017
I went with my family to see "The Greatest Showman" on December 24th. I gotta say, it's a good motion picture. Yet, it has mixed reviews. ALL films, especially films with 100% scores on Rotten Tomatoes, have their flaws. My way of defending the film is "either it has flaws, or a number of critics don't know where good motion pictures came from". That's also how I would defend the 1944 Betty Grable film called "Pin-Up Girl", which I've seen myself, and wasn't bad at all.
Now then, here are a few similarities between the 2017 MLP Film, and "The Greatest Showman".
- They both have mixed reviews.
- The main characters have to deal with struggles in their lives and goals.
- They are able to overcome them with help from their friends.
- Both films are musicals.
Dunno what other similarities they have, but "The Greatest Showman" might inspire bronies to cross it over with the MLP film, or other MLP: G4 sub-franchises. What do you think?
