No, I do not need mental help. It's true.
I have a research paper in my English class that I have to do. The topic is the history of a piece of media. It could be video games (I originally thought of doing that), a movie, the history of twitter, whatever. I am choosing writing a research paper on Why My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is so popular by looking at its past, its content, and its following.
I get to write about ponies for college. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!
Speaking of writing about ponies, I'm going to start writing a story over winter break, since I have nothing better to do. I know NaNoWriMo was November and all, but I'm going to try to do it over winter break. I have a month minus Christmas, and I want to get something like 20,000 words. Maybe. I know the real challenge is 50,000 words, but I don't want to overwhelm myself. I'm calling it PeNoWriBre (Personal Noob Writing Break). I may fail my own challenge, but I need to put something out soon or my creative muse will die a slow and painful death in my head. My break officially starts December 15, Classes restart January 10. That should in theory be plenty of time for 20,000 words (1,000 words a day will easily do it).
