    Hey! I think I'm done.

I haven't posted anything since August so it's pretty obvious I'm dead. I wanted to place a gravestone here though, and sort allow myself to let go. The purpose of this post is to allow closure on my unfinished projects and explain a few things about myself and my goals here on this site.

    Episode 7 Brief Re-Write

It's a hard balance between full illustration the story and pictures I have in my head, and updating on time. Frequently I don't have the time, patience, or words to fully express my ideas and it's quite difficult to portray what I want without cluttering the story or without cutting things I really want to keep in.

Hey! I think I'm done. · 12:51am Nov 30th, 2017

I haven't posted anything since August so it's pretty obvious I'm dead. I wanted to place a gravestone here though, and sort allow myself to let go. The purpose of this post is to allow closure on my unfinished projects and explain a few things about myself and my goals here on this site.

Horse La Horse is my favorite project that I've ever done! In it I've tried my hardest to create and foster the aesthetic and comedic flavor I think is sorely underrepresented. Video games like God Hand, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 4 and shows like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill; movies like The Princess Bride, Drive, Conan the Barbarian and Escape from New York all of these pieces of media are either purposefully or not amusing and over-the-top. My work is littered with references to these things in order to further invoke the feelings, visual aesthetic and humor presented in those works.

I don't believe I can fully construct the vast scope of what exactly is in my brain when I consider each scene of Horse La Horse, truly each and every camera swing, color change, boisterous stance and smug facial expression cannot be transcribed properly into text with my brain capacity and skill as a writer. The richness of imagery and perfected version of each piece of dialogue and action scene seems like a quickly vanishing ghost I'm chasing after as it fades into the sunset, looking back at me with a thumbs up.

Behold, the inner machinations of my mind.

Please, try to envision what follows to the best of your ability and fill in the gaps with the own thoughts in your head to create the best version for yourself, so that it may live on in your heart!

Horse La Horse 2: Desperate Struggle

Obviously the tournament arc of the story, and the half-published sequel. Here is how I intended it to go down:

Episode 11 Trixie vs. Sunset and Anon. But where is her partner? With flair and flourish the fight goes on until Trixie gets cornered, then she reveals her partner: an upgraded version of the Ursa Major Mech, made of actual metal this time! Trixie forces them back against the ropes with her new machine, dubbed the Ursa General! Eventually through sheer force of will and human spirit, Anonymous and Sunset Shimmer work together to melt down some armor bits, rip out some wiring and bring down Trixie!

Episode 12 Anonymous faces off against Lavan. It's a fierce struggle, and he's barely able to get a hit in, however Iron Will gives him courage from the stands and he pulls what he thinks is a win at the end with an Iron Clutch. However, some of the hot iron spikes Lavan shot at him injures him to the point of a KO. It's judged as a tie and the Mega Forces favor Lavan, disqualifying Anon.

Episode 13: Midseason Finale Anonymous recovers, and hears his status in the tournament. There is hope however, for the final slot in the final four is open to the contestant who can win the Loser's Rally, a death race between all the other bums who couldn't make it. But where will Anon get a car? Iron Will knows a guy! The trio (oh yeah Sunset passes of course), head over to Sunburst's place. He used to be the court wizard for those over in Crystal Empire, however after a failed contraception spell he was kicked out. They petition him to craft a car from Anonymous, and he can. Any car Anonymous wants in fact, however it will only last for so long as the summoned pieces will disappear, so once he casts it he's gotta race fast. The spell will extract the version of whatever vehicle he wants from his mind and create it.
The day of the race comes and Anonymous panics, unable to focus in his mind what he wants his car to look like, and so what comes to fruition is a horrible mix between an AE88, The General Lee and KITT. Of course the race would feature some sweet Eurobeat, fun car gadgets and lots of one-off early generation villains and semi-evil side characters all competing. In terms of jokes, think things like the on-board AI giving Anonymous stimulated Deja Vu and showing him the future briefly so he can avoid traps and things. Eventually, after Anonymous goes past the speed of light to the speed of dark, he wins the race, turning the car around and jumping off a ramp right into the viewing booth where the Mega Forces are waiting as his car behinds to dissipate, sliding across the floor with a finger pointed at Sombra in challenge.

Episode 14 The Sombra fight. Of course Sombra will talk only in "google-translate" spanish or quotes from Ganados from Re4. (Switching Lord Saddler of course for Lord Tirek). Sombra would use crystal magic attacks, think things like Dark Souls spells. Taking him down would require only a bit of human vigor and smart maneuvers! As for music, I was considering these tracks:

And the Gipsy Kings cover of Hotel California, which I can't post because it's blocked in my country. You can listen here at Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/35456805

Episode 15 Anonymous has defeated Sombra, but he's getting antsy. He gets to thinking (bad idea) that the jig is up and he just needs to go ahead and break into the palace. With the Mega Forces tired from their matches with other contestants this is the perfect time to strike and get back the princess. He's pushed over the edge when he sees a late night news report that the Mane Six made a move with the elements of Harmony that got them captured, and he sneaks out while Iron Will sleeps to help them. He sneaks across the palace, hearing the Mega Forces bicker about him and others as he climbs from window to window. He finds Princess Celestia trapped in the royal bedchambers. She's been drained of her magic and is pretty much useless. While chittering at each other and trying to break the lock on the cage over her bed Tirek walks in. He begins his villain monologue, attempting to sway Anonymous not unlike Armstrong does in MGR:R. To the same end result of course. However, Lord Tirek gives Anonymous the beatdown, killing him and throwing his lifeless body out a window. . .

Episode 16 Sunset rushes to Anonymous and Iron Will's room, having heard the news. She wakes Iron Will, and they figure Anonymous has gone off on his own. They find his broken, battered body. There is hope however, Sunburst perhaps can save him! They find he is only mostly dead, kept alive through anger and sheer human spirit. They revivify him, and carry his ass back to the castle. He explains that Tirek is behind it all, as Sunset suspected, and could be draining the power of the Mane 6 and the Elements of Harmony at the very moment, and so the trio head off to do what they can and save the Mane 6 and Celestia.
They battle out a boss rush against the Mega Forces, but they can't waste their time too much. Iron Will beats down Mane-Iac and Sunset and Anonymous cover him as he goes off to see if he can at least delay Tirek and help the Mane 6. He heads up to an open-air balcony in the palace, a huge place of tiles to be smashed up by fighting, cool night air and a backdrop of stars. Twilight and the others are trapped in a shield of her making, elements huddled closely together in the hemisphere of purple magic. Tirek is quickly draining the power from the shield however, delivering a monologue about how no one will be able to stop him once he's broken their defences. This is when the guitar from Roundabout kicks in and Iron Will shows up, with internal dialogue to himself about his destiny coming to pass and a fated death in single combat against a horned demon, saying aloud that he will stop Tirek. To be Continued. . .

Episode 17 The fights between the Mega Forces, Sunset and Anon carry on and the episode is capped off with Iron Will and Tirek. He challenges the powered up Tirek to a hoof-to-hoof no magic brawl. Tirek agrees, amused at Will's tenacity. Tirek is huge, but they exchange blows evenly. (I'd consider All Might's fight against Nomu for inspiration here). Tirek gets tired of Will's evasive actions, as he realizes he's obviously just stalling. So, he delivers 301 powerful strikes to Will in rapid succession which sends him rocketting across the balcony and back into the stairwell at the entrance. Bruised and bloodied, Iron Will gets back up. He rushes up and locks hands and horns with Tirek, sparks flying as they grind together. Will's muscles are shaking and fiery with pain, he's looking for an in on Tirek's defenses. He gets one! But its a feint, Tirek lures him into a trap and runs Will through with his horns, throwing him back to the stairs again.
Just then Sunset and Anonymous arrive, seeing the dying Iron Will laying in a pool of his own blood on the stairs. The rush to him, but nothing can be done to save him. He says his goodbyes tearfully, reaching into his tuft of chest hair for a crumbled, bloody letter, and hands it to Anonymous, asking him to deliver it for him.

Episode 18 Anonymous and Sunset do their best to Tirek. Sunset activates her hair demon, essentially Madama Butterfly from Bayonetta. However, even their best efforts aren't enough to harm Tirek and his "Magic absorption, Son!". The Mane 6 invoke the elements of harmony on Anonymous behest, which combine with the powers latent in his suit to form a weapon powerful enough to harm Tirek! Meanwhile, all the absorbed abilities from Anon's suit start really coming out, the reflective nature of the Smooze, the heat-resistance and fire manipulation from Lavan, and magic resistance and manipulation from Sombra. With Sunset battered and cast aside it's just him, his new weapon and his wits against Lord Tirek!
His sword of harmony doesn't last long though, as Tirek barehands it and breaks it in half "Nice knife!". However he quickly recoils in pain, as it does actually harm him some. The shards go in a million places, some reflecting off Anonymous back at Tirek and harming him further. However it isn't enough, and Tirek gets Anonymous on the ropes again, pinning him with a beam of magic eventually that blasts a golf-ball sized hole right in his shoulder. He's about to collapse, teeth-gritted in pain, arm disabled, options running low, when he looks to the night sky and sees the clouds. Iron Will, the Asiatic Clam guy, visions of Sunset Shimmer, Twilight, and even Celestia urging him on. And so, with a small shard of the sword of harmony he finishes off Tirek, sending him right back to Tartarus. Before he collapses from exhaustion.

Episode 19 Days later and things are all right again. Sunset Shimmer and Anonymous get ready to board a train back to Ponyville. She's got a gift, a small ring for him and a bracelet for her, forged from the metal of Will's nose piercing. They talk about heading over to his farm, maybe making a home of it for themselves. Anon clutches the letter in his pocket, intending to deliver it when they arrive.

Now I totally had ideas for Seasons 3 and even 4. These are way more "out-there" and require REAL SKILL and talent to make not an annoying cringefest.

In brief, Season 3 would follow Anonymous and Sunset's satyr kid. Sunset has gone missing, magical anomalies are going off all and shits bad. Anonymous is much older now, retired from his heroism. His arm injury still a serious hindrance. He breaks out his old suit and goes out to find his former waifu with the help of his kid and the recipient of Iron Will's letter, his daughter. (Steel Grace or something, who cares. Anyway, you can kinda see where this is going. The trio of them pick up "party members" as they uncover that in-fact Trixie has returned, and with the Alicorn Amulet she's gone completely insane, forming a cult of followers around herself or whatever. The entirety of it would just be a rip off of Part 3. I'm sure someone could wiggle this into an interesting story with enough unique qualities to be worthwhile but I don't think I could. Season 4 would feature Anonymous in an alternate timeline, Princess Celestia is bad and King Sombra is good. Rip-off of Gurren Lagann and MGS here, Mecha-Fights and that sort of stuff.

Anyway, I think that's it for this. I'm not sure what else to say. I didn't edit this at all because I'm shit at picking out mistakes. Ok thanks!

That all sounds amazing and I'm sad to see you go, but I have to wonder if you do any other writing and where we might find it if so?

Well shit. I don't suppose you feel inclined to tell how The Interviews and End of Ponies end, do you?

Hey thanks for your support while I was posting, I'm glad I have entertained you while I could. Well I write up "real" nonsense all the time but it's about the quality of whats posted here or lesser. My pastebin is the only other place I've posted stories online.

Thanks for reading my stuff as well. The Interviews essentially ends with Anonymous being tortured with isolation and being fed poorly, gets freed by Twilight, and hits Twilight in the head with a brick and runs off on his own. It's not really a story I had as much passion for as HLH, and didn't have the plot sketched out as well.

I would love to see more of your nonsense honestly, if you ever want to chat you can hit me up on discord or steam, my username on both is also StardustSurvivor
