Adaptations of "Shakespeare In Hollywood" · 9:08am Nov 16th, 2017
About a week after the 2017 MLP film got released, my family and I went to see a play by Ken Ludwig called "Shakespeare In Hollywood". This play takes place in 1934 during the filming of Max Reinhardt's adaptation of a Shakespeare play called "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with Warner Bros. Oberon and Puck are transported from their world's woods near Athens into Los Angeles, California in 1934, and get involved with the filming, as well as all the events surrounding it regarding Jack L. Warner, Reinhardt, the cast and crew of the film, and Will Hays of the Hays Office, who is ensuring Reinhardt's American film is clean for American audiences. These videos might help you out.
I have an idea for WB to create a film adaptation of the play, whoever should direct it, and whoever the writer(s)/rewriter(s) should be. The director(s) could be Baz Luhrmann(Moulin Rouge![2001]), Rob Marshall(Chicago[2002]), Damien Chazelle(La La Land[2016]), or anybody of the like that can direct the film perfectly like the first half of the 20th Century.
Also, I'm thinking that people besides myself should do fanfictions on this website based on "Shakespeare In Hollywood". They could include Equestria Girls, the 2017 film, anything. If you like my idea, comment down below. Also, if I myself was to write one, I'd end up experiencing a writer's block, so I guess anybody else could do it for me. What do you guys think?
