As some of you may know already I have recently published a story based around Nicholas Cage's journey to Equestria. On the first chapter I posted It's already been favorited 22 times! Why? I haven the foggiest notion!
I never intended to publish the god damned thing in the first place, now it's being liked, commented on and favorited. Oh well, what the people want, the people want.
But that is beside the point, my main concern is that some of the incredibly talented writers on this site are not getting enough credit for what they have contributed to the online community. I wrote a piece of shit that I didn't give a damn about and It has gotten more than twice the amount of attention as some of the best pieces of fiction I've read here.
While I'm here, I may as well point out some incredibly awesome fics I've read in my time here:

I think it probably has to do with the internet's obsession with how.. uuh.. interesting? Nicholas Cage has become in the last few years. AH THE BEES! THEY'RE IN MY EYES! RAAHGHGJKLJDKFSDH!!!!
I haven't quite gotten a chance to read it yet, but I want to. Damn work. Perhaps I'll be able to get a chance today since the boss is going to be late. Muahahaha!

I'm curious to see how a quickie one-shot turns out when I publish it later today. It had been swimming around in my head recently, and wasn't hard for me to write due to some level of personal experience, and in a way, I'm testing a theory of mine. You'll see what it is later on once I know if the cover art has been posted on DA by the artist I talked to.
