10/16/2012 Story's Progress Update (to be weekly)

Hello again readers, another blog post for you all to check out. This one is important, as it pertains to all your favorite stories that I'm working on. This is something I intend to turn into a weekly update thing, (provided I can be reminded by friendly readers every now and then :p) so that I can keep people in the loop of what''s going on with each story, both in progress and status change if that comes up. So, without further ado, here we go!

A Jewel of a Problem-
Status of story: In-Complete
Status of next Chapter: In Progress
word count is 1743
ETC: within 14 days

Me and HoneyHoneyHoney are working on this and am making progress. We should at least in theory have a finished chapter ready within two weeks at the most, though hopefully we can get it sooner than that. As an aside, all chapters from Chapter six onwards will likely be long, as they shall be having the events of a day or even two days in story going on in them (it's taken 5 1/2 chapters just to get through one day, so no more of that unless it makes sense to do so)

I've hit a snag in my willingness to write this, less of a writers block or writers fatique and more of a case of simply not being happy with the whole thing. I originally didn't want to write a sequel, but there were some people asking for another one, and I thought to myself "Heck, why not" and "Never said the sequel had to be happy either" so at the moment until I can get my willingness to work on it back, its on hold. Why an ETC then? (Estimated time to completion) Because I figure within that space of time I'll end up spending some time on it and getting it into a state I'm at least decently okay with.

I've felt really no urge to work on this story at all since I last opened the word file for chapter 4 a while back. I think I just lost interest in the premise. I would like to state that if I end up cancelling it, it will be open for someone else to claim and continue writing, if they are so interested. For now, its just going to sit there.

ETC: When I can manage to get past 1000 words without deleting everything and starting over (3 times as of today)

This story is not cancelled, and its on-hiatus only in the sense that I haven't updated it in while. I have been working on it when I haven't been working on AJoaP or TCWM, but each time I get a little ways thru, read what I've typed, and make angry foaming at the mouth sounds and scrap it and start over. I think part of the problem is the fact that I originally intended the story to try and be a romance type ship, but I think I'm wanting a friendship type shipping here (perhaps if I ever get the story done I could write a sequel with said romance) but that change of intentions has left me a tad confuzzled on how to proceed.

I haven't quite decided what the rut i want to do with this story. I want to try it again, with a change in premise, but I've got so many other things I'm working on that I've not the time to add it to my list of things to work on. So for the moment, this story is ????

He Fell From the Sky

Would anyone be interested in a possible redo of this at some point? Perhaps a different perspective or character, or some other idea? Suggestions welcome.
