It's Been a Long Time · 8:29am Nov 11th, 2017
The last time I wrote fanfiction was before I was even exposed to the MLP fandom. I never published any of it. It's also been a while since I've written anything original. I was once writing a novel. I still have it somewhere, it's around 200 pages and still isn't near finished.
I'm bringing this up because as I'm now attempting (and struggling a bit) to write A Spider's Web, my first fiction in years, I've realized that I'm out of practice, and writing is no easy feat.
With school keeping me busy, it's difficult for me to work on my story, and chapters will be shorter, and detail and planning will probably fall through as I go along. I'm not hoping for a perfect story. I'm just trying to slowly introduce myself back into the world of writing, and hopefully each chapter I write becomes more natural to read, more interesting, and more believable.
I'm not expecting a lot of editing help, or advice. I can write. I'm just quite rusty. It's going to be a fun exercise for me, but may be a bit painful for whoever decides to read this, as it will probably be quite awful at first. But I'm hoping to improve, so if you decide that you want to read my story as I go along, thanks.
