A Short Nightmare Before Christmas Review · 1:15am Nov 1st, 2017
Okay, lets try to do this again.
Lets dive right into the Nightmare Before Christmas!
The movie follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town who unfortunately has gotten bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. But after finding this mysterious place where the rest of the holiday worlds resides, he finds Christmas Town. Absolutely loving what Christmas Town offers, he tries to get the residents of Halloween Town to create Christmas this time around, but they unfortunately do not understand what he sees in Christmas...
Where do I begin with how awesome this movie is? Lets go one by one.
The story. The story is something I'm sure we're all familiar with, and its a really well done, well executed story. We instantly get what's going on, and never does a point in the story get dull or boring.
The characters: each one of them are memorable in their own way, and the ones we follow are tons of fun. I remember them all, and I think everyone can remember who the characters are in this movie.
The animation: Animation is top notch. Beautiful stop motion blending in with wonderful backgrounds, visually interesting set designs, and the right amount of lightning that sets the mood in just the right way.
The songs: These songs are catchy, have the right amount of energy they need, and are a ton of fun. These songs are memorable by heart, and tons of people around the world can remember every lyric, word for word. My personal favorites have to be This Is Halloween, Kidnap The Sandy Claws, Oogie Boogie's Song, and Poor Jack.
Honestly, there isn't much for me to say. This movie is just amazing. Its executed perfectly in every way, and it shows. This is a Halloween movie that is needed to be seen to believe. And I'll say to all my followers, you should just see this movie. Its worth your time. Just go see it, go see the movie. Buy it, watch it, enjoy it. Its a great movie for Halloween, and I guarantee you a ton of fun for Halloween Night.
So for the end of Halloween month, I give this movie a 9 out of 10.
Go see it, enjoy it!
