So my friend is coming again to stay with me for a week, while they're doing repairs on her house. The only time she will be alone is the couple hours that I have to work. I told my Dad, and he got mad.
"I don't like her being alone in the house."
She'll be fine. She's been alone before, and knowing her she'll go take a nap.
"But what if the blinds catch fire? Will she know what to do?"
That is officially the most random "I don't want her around you" excuse you've come up yet.
"Let me talk to your Mother about it."
"Ok. Make sure to tell her that her Mom already said that they are taking us grocery shopping, so we won't have to worry about food. On top of giving us a little extra spending money. You guys are getting me to leave you alone for a week."
