I’m writing this while the title credits to a different ep play so let’s go!

In the first episode, we are introduced to our three protagonists: Sucy, Lotte, and Akko.
Also introduced is Akko’s idol, Shiny Chariot, who inspired Akko, a pure human, to become a witch.
On her way to the witch academy, Luna Nova, she meets Sucy and later Lotte, who offers her a ride to the school, as Akko doesn’t have a broom to ride the Leylines. However, their trip is disturbed because Akko had brought pickled... prunes If I remember correctly? Because the Leylines hate salt.
Lotte and Akko, along with Sucy, exit the Leylines in the Arcturus forest, which is forbidden. The scene cuts to one of Luna Nova’s professors, Professor Ursula. She notices that someone had arrived in Arcturus.
Back to Akko, Lotte, and Sucy, they realize they are in the Arcturus forest, and almost immediately get attacked by a mandrake. After outrunning the mandrake, Sucy has Akko and Lotte step into a ring of (likely) rope, which she then pours a potion onto, making it spring up and trap Lotte and Akko. She then has Akko say something (I can’t recall what sue me), and a cockatrice comes towards them. Sucy tells them to distract it while she gets a feather, which has a poison in it.
Lotte and Akko end up getting chased down a cliff, and Lotte ends up hurt. Akko takes it upon herself to get Lotte back up the cliff, and I believe she is quoting Chariot, I must confess I’m not certain. Anyway, her saying her thing, a staff appears before her at the top of the cliff. Chariot’s staff, the “Shiny Rod.”
Skip a bit, and Akko saves Sucy, who has been avoiding the cockatrice’s breath (it’ll petrify you), but Sucy’s broom breaks as they try to escape.
Professor Ursula shows up before it breaks. She sees that Akko has the Shiny Rod, and helps her use it so they can get to Luna Nova. It works, and they arrive just in time. They end up roomates.
