Y'know, one would expect a striptease to be a place that would relieve stress; NOT IN PERSONA 4, IT'S NOT.
To be honest, when I finished playing Persona 3 and started playing 4, I was expecting something easier, but I guess not; it turns out that 4 has a BIGGER difficulty spike in it. It's only the third dungeon! Don't throw lions with the strength of KIRBY at me and expect me to be okay with it!
Also, is it just me or are the difficulty names... misleading? If I had a nickel for every time someone started a game on normal mode, I'd be a f***ing millionaire, everyone expects "normal" to be a balance between easy and hard, "this setting is intended for experienced gamers" Yeah, no kidding! Everyone expects "easy" mode to be "you little p***y" mode, but in the case of Persona, it really is Beginner mode as it's actually meant for new players. I didn't expect it to be that way for Persona 4, I ALREADY BEAT PERSONA 3! Oh, but, too bad I can't change the difficulty mid-game -- WHICH THE GAME ACKNOWLEDGES -- when I feel like it's too hard for my standards.
This is the first time frustration has given me apathy; I ended up caring only about getting this goddamn dungeon. Completely over with. FOREVER. Guess what? GRINDING TIME!!!
