MLP fanfic story

I've been trying to do my own MLP fanfic story of my own.
Earth to Equis: Equestrian Destiny
But I'm actually stuck on how to write the pony characters' behavior and actions.
My own character is basically myself, of course.
The cast of MLP get somehow changed into their characters.
So it starts on Earth, goes to Equis/Equestria and also goes into Fallout Equestria.

I have enough time for a short answer, I like to see different stuff from what you can ususally find. I like it when the rules of the word or whatever aren'T exactly those that everyone is using like a human visiting Equestria dying because of something that wouldn'T hurt a cartoon character.
I always say why couldn'T it be that either the world affects the human or the rules of the cartoon world makes the items or things happening there less harmful, so that ponies and humans have the same chance to survive whatever happens.

I know this has nothing to do with it, but I wanted you to know what I mean with something different.
I also enjoy adoption and romance stories, the stuff that I mentioned above was just something that annoyed me recently.
