I feel like an idiot & new story! · 5:57pm Sep 26th, 2017
It has taken me over two years to realize why Double Diamond loved his skis so much. It hit me a few minutes ago that double diamond is a difficulty rating for ski and snowboard slopes. I'm stupid.
Anyway, I'm cooking up a new story based on Sanguine Dream's Tiers of Divinity. I have managed just over 8 pages on GDoc so far and I have yet to think of a name for the story and I currently have a misguiding placeholder for the first chapter. Those of you who have been with me since the first chapter of God of Rage may notice a somewhat or greatly significant improvement in my writing skills since 2015, but I'm also not counting out those who have recently boarded the bus. I'm not discriminate.
The basic gist of it is this: A small town guy from Tennessee finds out about the Displaced, gets a basic gist of the ordeal, and searches for the Merchant. He finds him, but ends up having his body destroyed and his soul fused with that of an Incarnation by the name of Masaru Ametsuchi, who has a dark and traumatic past. Memories get mixed, things are forgotten then slowly remembered, and a certain Sun Princess 'looks him over'. Hint, hint. Nudge, nudge.
Loads of cursing, btw. I refuse to hold back this time.
Also, Lunar, if you're reading this, yes, he will be overpowered, no, I will not weaken him or pull strong enemies out of no where that I don't already have planned. Don't flip your tables at me either, you got a bit pissy last time my MC was 'overpowered'.
Speaking of which, I'm also planning on completely redoing God of Rage. It's looking more like a One Punch Man level crackfic than a displaced story. Too much action, not exactly enough character build.
I've matured!... Baka.
