New Story and Real Life Problems

I will be releasing a new story titled "Theft of a Writer". It is based on real world experiences... and something I am going through right now.

I have been a fan of many shows. But recently, as I was doing research, I realized my stories... as well as other fan's works, stories, ocs, etc. were also being copied.

Basically, certain concepts were changed in metamorphoic ways so the episodes seem original, but aren't. One thing in a story or oc was done differently or opposite to the original source, so the material would appear original, when it isn't. Not to mention these episodes being sold on DVDs, aired in other countries, and even copyrighted by the companies who own "PAW Patrol". And don't even get me started on the amount of money they would need to give the original creators if found guilty. It's in the millions. All of this is illegal by both U.S. and Canadian laws. Trust me, I looked those up too. Sadly, this problem will never be taken to court, because the money needed to take the creators of the show to court is in the high millions or more. An amount no fan can afford.

In short, the show I am talking about is a preschool show on Nick Jr. titled "PAW Patrol". Season 1 was great, but since Season 2, it has gone downhill, and now the show is just a toy commercial in disguise. It's not even trying to hide it anymore. It makes me sick. "Educational"... I don't think so.

At this point, I will do my research until the end of Season 4. But after that, no more. I feel like I'm gonna be sick and want to sob on the inside. To say I personally feel hurt, betrayed, sad, and disappointed can't even describe the pain I feel in my heart. This is the biggest slap in the face, stabbed in the back, stabbed through the heart, double crossing, middle finger, F word, forget you to a fan -let alone individual fans - that anyone can ever receive from a show, let alone it's creators.

I have NEVER had something this serious happen to me in any fandom before. Users can be bullied, manipulated, trolled, and so forth. But when something this serious happens, .... that is just crossing the line. Absolutely unacceptable, disgraceful, shameful, atrocious, disrespectful, demeaning, ILLEGAL, dissapointing, and a big "I don't care" insult to an entire fandom.

I have even prayed and hoped that the creators of the show would see the error of their ways, but it looks like it's not going to happen.

I apologize for putting this topic out, especially on such a negative topic. Ignore this blog if you want, but I am still hurting in my heart. I have no idea how I'll be able to forgive the creators of "PAW Patrol" for what they have put me through.

All I ask is support, advice and help from anyone who is willing to take this blog seriously, and help me with healing. I can't do this alone, and I need support.

Put my situation in MLP.... as if Daring Do was the exact opposite of what it was and fans were having their work stolen. How would Rainbow Dash or even Twilight feel? That's the best way I can describe it.
