Hi world. Took a year long break from writing. Why? Same old, really. Work's keeping me busy. Been looking after an old car. Had urges to play xbox and watch TV. Lost motivation for a while (uncomfortable chair, malfunctioning keyboard, slow computer/internet, cold room) but I'm back and determined to pick up where I left off. I'll have to read through what I've got so far to remember where I am. I remember writing the elevator scene in Oracle but not much after that. Almost time to cut the cable.

Not quite Florida, but near enough for Irma to do some damage. Only lost power for a few days, with minor damage to the surrounding woods.

You say that like I did. It was nice to get out and around, even for a few days. It shows how much we're missing. I actually saw full constellations one night instead of fragmented pieces.
