Update #1 On Last Two Specials · 4:00pm Sep 12th, 2017
I shall honor my word on my daily updates.
I had a half day at work yesterday. This was due to Hurricane Irma nearing our location, so we had high winds and heavy rain. Around dinner time, when it was safe to do so, Lome and I headed out to eat at our favorite pizza joint, Paparoni's. The food wasn't exactly healthy, but it tasted good, and we didn't exactly have power.
Once power came back on, I got on and did a little bit of writing. Here are the word counts for the two stories.
Still Ponnequin: 1065 words
Effigy of a Dragon: 92 words
I didn't do much writing, but it was a start.
Still Ponnequin has about 5 focal plot points left in it, of which I imagine each being roughly 500-1000 words each, depending on how what I feel is best to focus on in each particular scene, so we can expect the final product to be around 3-5k words long for our rough draft.
Effigy of a Dragon will start out with two chapters when released: a prologue and the first chapter. I estimate the prologue will be about 1000-1500 words. Not sure how long the first chapter will be yet, as I need to jot down the plot points for that still.
Hopefully this will suffice for an update on them for the time being. It helped to have two stories to work on at once in case I got stuck on one project, I can mull it over until the next time. I do, however, still have to go back through these for final touches on editing before their publication.
In other news, I have been behind the scenes trying my best to help out people on here with depression. It's mostly been my friends upon discovering their depression, and I've tried to give my support to them however I can. I'm no professional, but I have inquired about them seeking professional help when it was appropriate to do so.
That did eat up a little portion of my day yesterday, as well, but it was well worth it, I believe.
I have recently started playing video games again. This is thanks to Lome, who decided to purchase Destiny 2 on the Xbone for my upcoming birthday. The game has been thoroughly enjoyable thus far, and I have already achieved the maximum level with a light level of 206.
I had forgotten that games can be a source of stress relievers. As such, I had stopped playing them back in February.
I have a feeling that, because I spent a little time playing, I will write even more today than yesterday, provided I am not pulled away to help someone.
I have a few diary entries that I have been writing for my own keepsake. They have been mainly a source for me to work out my problems. Most of what I have is barely coherent, but of the friends who have read it, they said they could sense my confusion in them.
I don't mind using my blog as my diary, thereby divulging the information to you and the inner workings of my inane mind, but my question is as follows: Do you think that would be appropriate and interesting to read, or does it detract from other things?
I hope you'rer okay due Irma

It didn't affect me beyond allowing me to go home early yesterday. No trees fell where I live, even. At my parents place, however, their pool gate fell over, and they had a tree fall into the road leading into their neighborhood. No one was hurt. Even my sister, who was directly in the storm's path, turned out to be fine. She lives in Florida, by the way.

Glad to hear that but I pray for anyone over there
