That movie was book accurate but dear god was that scary · 9:26pm Sep 8th, 2017
It was like I knew what was coming for 2 and quarter hours but it really amped up the horror.
Thanks CGI gore and jump scares god damn.
It was like The Breakfast Club met Lovecraft and it was the best movie for Stephen King I've seen all year.
But seriously by the end it felt like I was having a concentrated panic attack and felt like I should be puking my guts out.
I didn't think It would be that good but the comparison to the book is that they updated the setting to 1989 instead of like? 1955?
So that was nice but dear god it was full of jump scares.
But you know what the actor who played Pennywise would make a fantastic Joker. Got the uncomfortable fear going on, the laugh was unique and spot on, and he was really intimidating.
