Look, you can like Teen Titans Go. I'm not gonna mock or insult you if you do. I personally don't like it. The reason is because I know it's a parody show, but it just does a poor job of being one and it only lands a few jokes and episodes. The writers know what their criticisms are, but they just refuse to improve. I want this show to better cause I know it can be better than just "below mediocre" IMO.
Super Hero Squad proved that you can parody iconic superheroes while keeping the core aspects of what we liked about those characters and their world in the first place.
Now this episode... oh boy. I hope they know what they're doing for once. Cause they're already treading thin ice with the fans of the original show after the debacle that was Return to Slade and various jokes at their expense. I'll watch it, but I hope this episode is one I can consider good.
Please don't let this be another "bash the fans of the old show cause ours is better" episodes. Please...
Update:
...I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather they stuck with the original cartoon. Now it's a parody of Superfriends and now I lost interest.
I didn't hear about that until now but I agree with you. If they screw this up, they should definitely expect some hate.
The most frustrating thing about TTG is that it could actually be pretty good if the staff actually gave a damn, "40%, 40%, 20%" is proof of that.
4658668 I just updated the blog. It's a parody of Superfriends now. And I stopped caring.
4658719 Is that the Night Begins to Shine episode? I heard that one was actually good, and I want more of that. The show has potential but the writers choose to acknowledge their faults and exaggerate them without actually doing anything about it.

Yep that's the one, not sure how it happened I guess someone got drunk and decided to care for once XD. The only other decent episode I remember seeing was the TTG x Powerpuff Girls cross-over episode oddly enough. There might be others but that would require me to watch more of the show.
