I'm back! · 4:08am Oct 11th, 2012
So, I decided to take the month of September off as sort of an unofficial hiatus of sorts (Sorry i didn't tell you guys). So, during that month i didn't write any fan-fiction, brainstorm much, just did graphic art and took a break. Now, the reason i took a break wasn't because i hate all of you and don't care about you at all. No, the reason was that i just had a lot piling on top of me and i wanted a breather from writing to get back into the swing of things. First thing was that i was starting school again, and my teachers have been very 'generous' with the work load they have been assigning to me.
Also... Borderlands 2 released...
Team Fortress 2 updated...
I got the Humble Indie Bundle...
and there's CS:GO...
Please forgive me, I'm only human :(. At least i'm holding back from playing Dishonored to begin writing for you guys again!
All jokes and horrible excuses aside, I've begin writing again and making ideas and brainstorming for future fictions! And after being out of the game for so long, I've got a plethora of new ideas to play with! Right now I'm working on a One-Shot that will be my first attempt (Unless you count Things We Underestimate) at a sad fiction!
Have a preview:
Rainbow Dash groaned in frustration as the annoying ring of her alarm sounded through her bedroom like a siren. She didn’t budge however; she was going to win this time. If she just waited long enough, maybe the stupid contraption would stop itself. Seconds passed, followed by minutes. The cyan mare’s irritation only increased as she desperately tried to block out the agitating wail with her pillow. Finally she had enough; with much effort, the mare pulled herself above the covers and proceeded to silence her enemy.
Dash yawned as she stretched out the joints in her legs and wings. The Pegasus sighed, wishing her friends had never persuaded her to buy an alarm clock. Her silent anger subsided however as she looked up to see the light pouring through her windows. With a small smile, she heaved herself out of bed and stumbled out of her room.
See how sad that is?! Rainbow Dash is tragically ripped from her love, sleep, by the evil alarm clock!
Oh, you want a real example...?
Fine :P
She took a step towards the edge of the mountain, peering down at the mess of rocks below, the ocean’s water brushing up calmly against them, and slowly receding after words. But her attention was yanked from it as her focus drifted to the night sky once more. Luna’s moon was at its brightest on this night, and it shun down a light that could even put Celestia’s sun to shame. The luminescent light emitting from it allowed her to gaze upon the stars that twinkled beside it. They were just as beautiful and radiant, if not more so, than the moon itself.
‘It’s funny… on such a perfect night…’ the mare thought ironically to herself as her eyes remained locked tightly upon the sky, as if it somehow held all of her answers. The answers to all of her problems, the solutions to fix her life. Without thinking, she kicked a lone pebble off of the edge, watching it tumble on down its path to the water, ending with a small splash. She gulped, imaging how a much larger form would take that fall. Would it be painless and quick? Or would be a slow, horror filled, jagged path to the bottom
There we go! Now, I'll be spending more time on this over the next few days/weeks/years or so and Hopefully it will be released soon!
Thanks for sticking with me guys :)
Cheers
