Changeling Civil War

I watched a recent YT vid, about how this could happen and it might happen. With Thorax on one side and Chrysalis on the other. Given how the species has divided in looks, feeding, and likely cultures one might wonder if this is really a civil war, or just a war between two opposing forces like good vs evil. Personally I don't really see it as a civil war per say, but it is likely one that might happen in the long run, as two opposing kingdoms. Still I am curious as to what others might think about it, and it should be interesting to see in the long run if this is played out on the show or not. Let alone the comics.

I consider civil wars to be when the supporters of opposing ideas come together to fight it out. They usually involve rebellions or separatist movements. In this case, I would say Thorax and his side are separatists trying to separate from Queen Chrysalis. They have two opposing ideas on how to get love and survive which could lead them to fighting it out.

Take the American Civil War for example. It was considered a Civil War because the Confederates were once a part of the Union and wanted to split off. Although at first the Union just wanted to bring the Confederates back into the country, the Confederates wanted to leave. It is still two opposing ideas that both sides are fighting over.

No matter what happens in the show. Thorax and his Hive were once a part of Queen Chrysalis' Hive and they separated from her. The only way I can't see this being a Civil War is if there are no blows exchanged on either side.
