Equestria is Earth's PAST?!?

Everyone had heard it before, the idea that like the famed Cartoon Network Show "Adventure Time", MLP is set in a Post Apocalyptic Earth in which Ponies replaced humanity as rulers of Earth. But then, here is one idea which could be even more shocking then that........

What if Equestria was in Earth's Prehistoric past?

Yep, Equestria is a Pre-Human Civilization that ruled in the land where many said Modern Hoses came from: The Americas.

But when would this have been set in?

As we know, it is NOT the Mesozoic as Dinosaurs are already dead in Equestria, so it is in the Cenozoic. the one Time area for a Pre-Human Equestrian Civilization is the Neogene Period of the Cenozoic, the period in witch grass started conquering the world and in which Humans and Horses evolved.

If the idea of Pre-Human Equestria is right, then The Equestrian Ponies (Minus the Crystal ponies, Equestrian Zebras and Changelings.), are a species that had evolved from a branch of The Equine family, spliting into three species: Unicorn, Pegasi and Earth. Soon enough these beings built up Pony Civilization and soon enough, came the rise of Equestria and the coming of the First Alicorns (Celestia and Luna.)

then he have the whole history of the show, etc and that leads up to the end.

What wiped out The Equestrians? the Ice Ages? Disease? the Comet that also ended the Clovis Culture? or did Humanity wipe out the Ponies, along with the New World Horses?

We may never know..............................................
