...Is Anypony Out There?

Hello again. So I was on Fimfiction, (as usual) and an idea sort of popped into my head.
I like to think that I'm pretty good at drawing, and it's going to be a while before I can get a few chapters out there so I thought "why not hold a contest?"
I started thinking about that. I could hold a contest! Something like, I don't know, a quiz or a survey or something where the participants who get the best score get to have an OC put in a future chapter of mine and I'll make them an OC picture for free.
I was getting all pumped, until a thought popped into my head.
"Is there really any point?"
Seriously. I don't even know if any of you guys actually take the time to look at what I'm doing. So here's my question: Is anypony out there?
