That feeling when a review of your story is as long and fluffy as your store · 11:07pm Jun 29th, 2017
Just got a review for one of my MLP stories I put on fanfiction.net.
I mean it is nice to see a review rival the length of my story. But the lengthy review really boiled down to something like you did okay but Maud in my opinion is kind of mean to Pinkie now in season six and seven so I the reader wanted to say how you didn't take that into account. Also it was fine but okay.
I mean that's what happens when the reader doesn't realize that I wrote that one like season four so of course I didn't take into account some persons headcanon about a season that didn't exist yet. Or that I have ever seen since to this day I've not seen most of season five and any of the other seasons after.
Do people check dates or something or even realize that maybe you might not like a story that is literally just fluff.
I don't react this way normally with stories but that boring story they commented on was written literally the day after one of my nieces was born.
Sometimes internet commentary is just kind of unhelpfully self centered on how much something doesn't fit their view of something.
Helpful criticism is good. Can't change a story I wrote three years ago that had a fluffy ending if I did that I'd never finish projects.
