Yeah... so, this is awkward.
I have been completely neglecting the story for several months now, I'm not even going to lie and say that I have begun work on it; because that would be dishonest.
I've wanted to do some more writing, but I've never had the time, and when I did have the time I didn't have the inspiration, or I just didn't have it in me to write anything. Principal reason of this is the "gruelling" schedule I have for studying A-Levels; I wake up at ten to seven, get on the bus at eight, arrive at school at ten and don't get home till half six or seven, and when I do get home I am either trying to take my mind off of work or doing so more essays than man should ever have to do. And on the day where I normally did the bulk of my writing; Friday, I have to be up an hour earlier (balanced out by an hour earlier finish, but still), and after the day I'm too tired to do anything, and are normally asleep by midnight, which is a stark contrast to the good ol' days of staying up 'till half four in the morning, writing.
But, on the plus side, I now know all about the economic problems of Russia in the mid-to-late 19th century. The joys of History.
So, for the foreseeable future, this story is now "On Hiatus"; I will, maybe, write very sporadically and during term breaks, but I'm gonna need to dedicate myself pretty whole-heartedly to my courses.
They are, by the way, Law, Gov't&Politics, Classic Civilizations and History, which means all my former "writing" time is spent writing essay upon essay upon essay.
I still love you all, my pretties. I ask only that you forgive me and that cliff-hanger thing I left you at. I am a bad person.
Addendum: Yes, this is a blog filled with excuses.
Well at least you said something! I was beginning to wonder..
Yeah, take all the time you need. I know most people say this to authors in similar situations to yours, but prioritize and put your school work first.

And don't worry about it. We all get busy from time to time and your using your time for school which is important. And that's a good thing! you've got your priorities set good.
Those of us who really like the story will be here just waiting for you to have time.
