It's my 23rd Birthday! · 2:27pm Jun 22nd, 2017
As some of you may know, I've had some highlights regarding the 22nd year of my existence on this planet. The good highlights I can think of is having my story "Not Wonderbolts Material After All" being featured for a time and the elongated delays between creating chapters, the publishing of a new chapter of my "Yu-Gi-Oh!" crossover fanfiction on Fanfiction.net in the delay of nearly one year, and attending a wedding for my dad's fiance's son (which I did not post because it was a family event).
The bad highlights I can definitely think of is having a fallout with my dad and fiance the day after my 22nd birthday, putting my precious cat Bella down due to an agonizing cancer, getting laid off by my three-year job, getting let go four days after starting my new job, struggling to find a new job, and recently falling into a financial hole. That, and the loss of my uncle, aunt, and cousin's house to a flash fire (thankfully, my cousin's pupper saved my cousin and aunt's lives; my uncle was somewhere else at the time) and the loss of our own beloved Adam West
But that's in the past now because I'm 23 now, and this will be a new year for me to get some stuff done! I'm looking at a job as a busboy and starting it off small, I'm going back into college for the first time in nearly two years, and I'm going to see Wonder Woman tomorrow evening. Here's hoping for a good year where everything will look up for me in due time, but until then, I'm going to enjoy a juicy burger for dinner tonight.
