The Perfect Episode · 6:16pm Jun 21st, 2017
I don't know about any o' y'all, but I thought that was the best episode in the entire series. Completely blew all other episodes out of the water for me.
If you haven't see The Perfect Pear yet, I HIGHLY recommend you watch it as soon as you can. And be sure to keep some tissues nearby.
For those of you that have seen it, what did you think?
More after the break.
Now, let's talk about Grandpear.
His story is probably the saddest of the whole episode.
Because of his anger, ever since Pear Butter died, he has lived with the knowledge that the last thing he said to his daughter was an anger infused "FINE!"
So far as we know, he never saw her again after that night.
His regret is pretty clear in his frustrated words: "I should have been here!… I can't believe I let a silly feud keep me from my family."
There was so much more to the story in this episode than it showed, and the writers did a really fantastic job letting it fill in the gaps.
In my personal opinion, this was the best episode of the entire series. For me, it blew all other episodes out of the water. The music was wonderful, the story was adorable, the romance was real, William Shatner and Felicia Day voice acted brilliantly, nothing in the episode felt out of place, and it was just a well made episode all around.
