Hey guys. I may have quite an interresting topic to bring out. It is about Peters former boss and unfortunatelly Spidermans nemesis and the number one critic J Jonah Jameson himself.
Yup, an irascible and gruff imfamous publisher or editor-in-chief of Daily Bugle, also characterized by his toothbrush mustache in a Hitler like style, flattop hairstyle and ever-present cigar and above all known for carrying a smear campaign and stinging editorials against Spiderman and yet also unbeknowingly employing wall-crawlers alter ego Peter Parker for years as a photojournalist.
To tell you the truth guys, my feelings for this old cheapskate and loudmouth are complicated and complex, but most likely and without an offence, I strongly and personally dislike this guy. He is arrogant, bossy, obnoxious, bad tempered, loudmouth, gruff and above all and deep down an bitter old man who is randomly misusing his post, bossing around, jelling and overworking his employees, disregarding the truth and above all cant stand anything possitive about Spiderman and holding a strong distrust or even a grudge agaisnt masked vigilantes and superheroes.
Besides, despite employing Peter Parker, he had also been treated the poor guy poorly, giving him a hard time, insulting, firing him for over thousands times and always giving him a cheap payments. However, his the most notable trait was his imfamous and often irrational hatred toward Spiderman. Jonah had alway been frustrated, thwarted and embarrased by Spidey, hating that "costumed freak" more than anything else before, claiming him to be menace to society and using a smear campaigns to shown a hero as a bad guy and criminal in the eyes of the public of New York only from a mere jealousy over the years and using the opportunity to boost his editorials to get more money. 
But on the other hand, and this is my complex opinion about this guy, hsi behaivour could at least be justified due to him to having it very rough and not easy either in his life. A son of an abusive war veteran, which caused Jameson to grow up that even a heroes could be and indeed being evil. But however, the key event happened when his first love and wife Joana was killed by a mugger who by the way also wore mask and Jameson dedicated his life to bring these vigilantes to justice.
However, there are also some possitives about the old flattop which is also which even I sometimes find hard to belive. Jameson is also a loving father to Jonah Jameson, a famous astronaut whom he sees as a "true hero", and also showing himself to be rather very brave, headstrong and tireless crusader for supporting human rights and helping to take down an organized crime and standing up upon some of New Yorks greatest mobs like Kingpin or Tombstone. And despite his irascibility, greedy and bossy nature, Jameson actually and honestly cared and had a somewhat honest and fatherly relationships with his employees.
But back to the topic. The entire thing about this blog is actually about "How would life of J Jonah Jameson looked like WITHOUT Spiderman." Back to Spider and Magic Rise of Spider-Mane, Peter was summoned via summoning spell by Twilight into Equestria and due to different dimensional timeline, being gone for four long years back on Earth. For that time, Jameson and Daily Bugle nearly went out of business holding on their last leg. And right then when Twilight under a new name Velvet Faust taking over Daily Bugle, restoring Spidermans reputation as a hero and in that moment, during the final battle with Norman Osborn, as the entire world along with Jameson learned about Spidermans secret identity as a Peter Parker, Jameson came to finally realize his mistakes, that he wronged the wall-crawler and finally comming to personally calling him a true hero, well at least for a short period of time, then again with his pryde. Yet and despite his mistreatment and abusing, Peter even called Jameson to be deep down a decent man, giving him a job years ago when anyone else couldnt and that he actually owed Jameson for that. 
And on top of this topic and I have been wondering and I also suppose even you guys would, when Peter along with his friends and loved ones, Twilight, Luna and Sunset pernamently departed form Earth so he could protect his new home and living happily ever after in Equestria, HOW would actually the life looked like for J Jonah Jameson WITHOUT Spiderman.
When Peter/Spiderman dissapeared for four long years, someone would even consider Jonah would actually enjoy the moment, but surpsisingly he couldnt. Spiderman represented everything what Jameson wasnt: brave, powerfull and unselfish and risking his life daily to save countless lifes, protecting the city and saving the day. If he was a hero, what was Jameson than? Sure, even when Bugle nearly came tobankruptcy, Jameson was still millionairy, a man of the world and a civic leader, but for him it was all a hollow. Jameson would do anything to trade it to be at least a half like Spiderman, but he knew he would never climb out to Webheads level. So the only thing that remained him was to cut him down to his level. Furthermore, SpiderMan also boosted Bugles editorials, eraning Jamesons more money and building quite an empire. However, when Spiderman dissapeared, everything had just fallen apart and Jameson mostly lost his former glory and his reputation damaged.
Besides and on top of that all, despite his intense hatred towards Spiderman, Jameson had an affection towards masked vigilantes alter ego, a young Peter Parker over the years. It is quite an irony, despite Jameson had often been jelling, abusing, mistreating, giving a hard time to Parker and at times being a pain in the neck, Jonah eventually came to see and treat the boy like a son and protege over the years and showing that he was genuinely caring for Peter. The most notable events might be when during the adventure in the Savage Land, Peter fell from the cliff to protect Gwen from a monstrous alien creature Gog and Jameson feeling devastated and even crying over the loss of young man. In Spiderman movie, when Green Goblin burst into Jamesons office and demanding to give him Peter Parker, Jameson bravely stood up to the psycho and telling he didnt know the photographer. And when Peter was falsely accused for a murder, Jameson secretly hired a lawyer which even appeared to be Matt Murdock aka. Daredevil, trully showing a genuine care for Peter. 
However, the old loudmouth had always been way too proud and arrogant to admit or showing his affection towards Peter, which would eventually lead to downfall. And by Peter pernamently leaving Earth and therefore along with his alterv ego Spiderman, yet it is way beyond and quite out of the screen of Spiders and Magic, I supposed that Jameson would have an interresting going or even a hard times to move on, knowing that his favority menace and main target of critic would be no longer around to rumble about, not to mention the guy who would also appear as his the closest associate and had been working for him over years, who would also appear to be a son to him is also gone for good.
Whatever your mixed reactions and opinions about this topic would be guys, J Jonah Jameson had been a key and the most importat supposting character of Spidermans mythos. And comminng to think of it that his long time war against Spiderman actually came into an end and the fact that finally knowing the identity of masked vigilante as Peter Parker, with his great triumph comming to be unfulfilling, bittersweat and empty, I personally thing this might by the old flattops eventual downfall in Spiders and Magic series.
