Sleep paralysis.
Seems to be a very uncommon thing that does happen to me every once in a while and it happened to me yesterday night.
Yeah the first time I remember it I was about six and thought somebody was stealing our garbage. And also it was Donkey Kong doing that. No idea how I thought that was possible but that is probably one of my earliest remembered memories and it's a sleep paralysis episode.
Then I had one of those weird floating and falling to my bed sleep paralysis episode s when I was like 12 and that was cool but I dreamed I was abducted by aliens and I think looking back that really didn't help me fitting in great with middle school.
I haven't really had those episodes often. Or if I have, they have become so regular I didn't notice them much. Sure seemed like sleep paralysis stuff was going on monthly or weekly during college. You know the common thing of attributing them to demons or something, I mean saying that out loud sounds a little crazy, and only now am I back home and having one.
Sure people's might think it is awesome sounding I mean it's like lucid dreaming right but I have those ones that are more commonly with things on your chest just holding you down or the almost worse one where your brain imagines that there is someone in your room or house being a burglar or staring at you.
I had that one yesterday.
I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It was awful. And it wasn't like a short one it was like it was a forty minutes episode of me just sitting there unable to move and feeling both something on top of me moving around and it staring at me. Seems like my life so far is a weekly or monthly sleep paralysis episode. Just there's always the worst ones.
Probably doesn't help that I now get like zero hours of sleep with babysitting my nieces for free.
