I made this account to read and to give the gifts of "Ideas", not to lead. Also I'm Canadian and a Warhammer fan, that is all. Also feel free to ask me anything.

Story Idea part 10 · 2:15am May 18th, 2017

This is just a list for me to keep track, if you want one PM me.

It may be corrupt... but it keeps everything together
Equestria is in trouble (Thinking sometime before the start of Season one) as a series of kingdoms and nations near Equestria, filled many other sentient races breaks out into full on warfare. Whether it be religious, material or for a stupid reason, a war has or will be started because of it. This mass fighting is threatening to drag Equestria and it's citizens into the war.

Seeing no option, Celestia decides to start a ancient ritual that is said to provide "what" is needed to solve the problem. This ritual forcefully summons a "Human", Celestia briefs the Human and begs for help, saying that she'll send him home if he finishes helping. the Human is tentative about it but is forced to agree.

However it falls apart with disagreements and their own way of "approaching" the situation. Celestia unable to take this "Human" anymore banishes him. The Human agrees and vows to solve this issue "His" way. A few years later the Human keeps true to his promise ending the fighting and establishes a corrupt empire over his lands.

The idea starts, a few decades after the existence of the Empire and into the later MLP seasons. Equestria for a long time has been a home for political refugees/exiles, rebels and other people/beings. Equestria is being pressured by these people and despite their efforts are unable to find ways to overthrow the Emperor (Who is crushing all opposition/rebellions ruthlessly and strangely content with his empire, not seeking to expand and spread his power into Equestria or the other nations/kingdoms, while refusing Celestia attempts to send him home) .

Celestia along with the other princesses, decides to use the ritual again (Albeit with a few more changes, like a "willing" person and Etc). They summon another Human and Celestia knowing what the last Human did, asks for this to help against this human. He agrees with this and eventually with the aid of the Elements, various rebel groups and etc.

The Human and elements overthrows the Emperor, after a naive monologue about how "evil" and "corrupt" it is and that "good" shall and will always prevail. The emperor before dying from the stress, old age and etc, along with a face that says "relief" and happiness says that "It may be corrupt, but it keeps everything together" then expiring.

The other Human along with the other Elements, not caring about the "dictator" ignores it, and walks into the inner sanctum expecting self-congratulating portraits, extravagant furniture and/or spoils of his conquests. They are shocked to see nothing but a large office with papers detailing budgets, education outlines and other misc things (Things needed to run a empire), a empty treasury and simple hand-drawn portrait of what looks like a city from Earth.

Eventually finding the papers detailing his backroom dealings, agendas and schemes in his main office, they feel glad about stopping him...... until the alarm showing the general state of the Empire and it's forces shows up and on it a large variety of red dots are showing and rapidly growing in number and the speaker crystals built in coming to life.

Soon they have what joy they had now replaced with terror and dismay, as they soon find out that thanks to them overthrowing the Emperor. The countless rebels, criminals and general population throughout the Empire are in open warfare and Chaos with not only Empire forces but also with each other. Starting a new wave of warfare and discrimination, as the various groups and rebels become "warlords" and old hatreds rise up over the now fragmented Empire. The Human and elements realizing what the ex-emperor now meant by "It may be corrupt, but it keeps everything together".

Convention Tribes

Equestrian is facing with a threat/danger/being or something that would result in them using a ritual so old. That Celestia and her parents wasn't even their when it came into existence. The ritual is said to summon beings able to resolve the "problem". However the thing about rituals almost as old as time, is that they tend to revolve around extremely arcane languages lost to time, plants and ingredients that have either gone extinct or fossilized due to time and most likely something to do with Virgins or copious amounts of magic.

Seeing that they have no choice but to try this ritual anyway, they decide to substitute or replace as much as possible with what they have or could get their hands on. Needless to say this causes some issues with the ritual and what it was originally supposed to work with, launching the contents of the ritual across the sky and landing in a distant clearing. Though the ritual worked.... they just didn't expect to see what they saw when it started.

Meanwhile on Earth, during a convention. Cos-players and dressed up nerds alike halt in their tracks as a what resembles a giant wormhole starts to suck up anyone and everyone in a costume, leaving the peasants those not dressed up behind. Jedi's, Trekkie's, fantasy and sci-fi fans alike are soon flying towards the hole, only ending when the last one is sucked thru.

Soon after they find themselves blinded and all gathered in a clearing. Everyone panics but soon stops when they hear a "Fwoosh" and they look at a Jedi cosplayers who now looks extremely realistic and with a working light saber. Everyone looks on at wonder and then they all start checking their things, remarking on how everything is usable and lifelike (The ritual gave them the magical equivalent of what they were dressed as or supposed to have, so no they don't have the force and stuff. Just telekinesis in a sense.).

This soon stops when a red-shirt Trekkie remarks on how stupid the Jedi's look with their "light-saber" (sabers made of condensed magic). This ends up with both sides, Star wars and Trekkies gathering together and arguing which soon went to violence. When a "Wookie" trying to speak English but failing gets frustrated and with a roar, ends up picking up a nearby "hobbit" and chucking it at a Vulcan's face. Soon the clearing was filled with lightsaber "Fwooshing", Phasers flying, the fantasy nerds ganging up on any lone fighters, with everyone beating the crap out of the elves (no one likes elves) and along with a rabid hobbit clawing a vulcans face.

The Equestrians arrive hoping to see the army of heroes that would help them and are greeted to what is now a battlefield of Fantasy and sci-fi nerds in a almost free-for-all. Eventually this breaks up with the respective leader of each faction (Yoda, Picard and maybe a bunch of guys dressed as Gandalf) meeting with the Equestrians after a cease-fire.

The Equestrians hoping to enlist the aid of these strange beings, soon find themselves having to argue their case with almost every leader, as they have all fragmented into tribes based on the genre and/or fiction. Not to mention that most if not all of them are hostile with one another or perhaps have their own goals.

Are you our general?

Ever since humanity has created what is deemed one of the most immersive strategy game, using their technology to literally allow them to take over immersive themselves in the role as a general or king. Able to choose from the very exotic races (Like half-dragons and etc) and all the way the lesser exotic (Dwarves, hobbits), they must lead them to victory in real time on a entire digital world against others and AI ( or till they get a actual "general" to lead them). Players using the wealth and experience they gain from settlements, battles to summon and upgrade their units.

However this idea is not about them, but rather one of the unknown, most laughed on and never played faction in the game. One where as soon as someone chooses it, they take a quick look at their stats and then leave to choose another faction/character. This is about the Humans (NPC's/AI), a faction that starts out with only enough up keep to field farmers (against way stronger factions and races), Down to one incredibly poor and run down settlement (due to other players using them as a way to practice new strategies, units and razing for fun.) and somewhat weak when compared to other races that "goblins" are seen as a better choice.

Idea starts where the AI humans are stuck in a constant cycle of waiting for a new "Player" to lead them, said "player" leaving in disgust, the AI and the (Incredibly weak) garrison of farmers sallying forth to fight the nearly daily sieges, getting slaughtered with complete ease and then respawning once more only to repeat again.

A new patch is unleashed with new weapons/units for every faction (besides the Humans), the human AI laments about this since they know who they're going to test their weapons on. Soon he is proven correct and it leads to the AI general being forced to sally forth with his small army of farmers and fight.... which does not go well as the they get hit when the Player "general" unleashes the weapon on them. Ending in a wide swath of destruction and the player remarking that these new units needs to be "patched".

Meanwhile in Equestria, a rural pony village is under attack from a nearby warlord seeking loot. One of the village inhabitants takes everything of value he can carry and gets the attention of the warlord, in the hope to lead them away and buy the villagers time to evacuate. Fleeing into a nearby cave to escape the slaughter and stumbling upon a incredibly ancient ruin with a pool at the center, with arcane symbols surrounding it.

However he gets ambushed by a scout and during the scuffle, the villager stabs the scout and knocks him into the pool along with the bag of valuables. This soon ends in a bright light as the pool dries up and the scout along with the bag of valuables disappearing. The villager panics at this seeing that he no longer has the bait and that the warlord along with his band of troops come in..... and are extremely angry that one of theirs died along with the lack of "Valuables".

The AI general and "soldiers" (Farmers) respawn to existence and expecting to see their burned down village, are greeted to the sight of what looks to be a specie of animals they haven't seen or lost to before and the fact that they're gonna kill someone. Expecting it to be a simple NPC event they ignore it... till they felt a weird sensation in them, one that signals that their General is in danger. Feeling hope that they might finally have a leader. This leads to them deciding to intervene and rescue their "General".

Skip a bit after the AI troops rush the group and rescue their "general" (although with the AI's getting horrible casualties and the warlord fleeing and swearing to return with vengeance and allies). This soon ends with a confused pony villager with no military experience that now has large amount of weird unheard of beings referring to him as "general", a angry warlord that is now heading for him and his village and not to mention that these beings keep mentioning to him that he can "upgrade" or "call for reinforcements" now and etc.

Return of the Titans

A long time ago way before the reign of Celestia, the unification or any of that business. Pony's were once a incredibly war-like race, only recently within the last millennia of so under Celestia reign did it get stamped out. The ancient pony's once craved a large empire our of the planet and proceeded to dominate it in a way similar to the roman empire.

Said roman-pony empire ran into a match with a small race of gigantic bipedal pacifistic beings known as "Titans" in their tongue with some rivaling small mountains (You know where I'm going with this). The ponies would come under attack from a demon invasion of their own making, due to their arrogance and belief that they control all beings and magic.

Thing get bad for the Titans when a officer stumbled upon a lone titan being attacked by the demons. He watches as the Titan easily wipes out the attackers. his size giving him an advantage, along with the surprise of immunity to the magics of the demons and enchanted weapons. Seeing the potential of this, they sent what forces they had and enslaved the "titans" with sheer numbers and forced them towards the war as giant living engines of war, controlling them using a variety of ancient devices, potions and etc. This soon pushes the war to the Empires favor as they find the source of the demons and crushes it then seals the remains into a powerful gate.

However, this war with the demons and not to mention with the Titans weakened the Empire to a critical point as rebellions break out everywhere and the few surviving "titans" decided to use what magic items they stole from the "demons" and left Equestria. Eventually landing on Earth and becoming Humans over time. Meanwhile the Empire would go through a collapse, then what would be their equivalent of a dark age that wiped out a lot of the info on the Empire and etc then moving on to the normal timeline and stuff.

Idea starts when in the MLP timeline, a archeological team scours the ancient ruins of the pony empire and stumbles upon a gate and thinking about the "things" behind.... decides to break it open and unleash it's contents once again. Skip a bit and the Princess looking thru ancient tomes about how the Empire once defeated these things (Though it's "colored" extremely well, as in they make the empire sound really great and everyone else as either idiots, barbarians or both) seeing a passage about a race of titans that "willingly" fought with them and were a key part of ending this threat.

The council of Princesses decides to try and perhaps summon some with the remains of a Titan, recovered from a dig. This however does work.... but instead it summons a bunch of Humans (who are friends) who although are big are not as big as the tomes say. However, they apologizes and proceeds to tell them the (biased) story of how their ancestors once fought for a mighty and "noble" empire. She manages to convince them though one of the Human seems suspicious when this empire she mentioned somewhat sounds familiar to a empire he was researching.

Overall the Humans have to deal with living and fighting alongside the very tiny and somewhat squishy ponies to fight a demonic threat from taking over the world, along with many other surprises good and bad and one of their own getting suspicious of all this. Celestia soon finds out about the truth about the empire and what really happened to the "titans", while deciding that perhaps it's better to keep it a secret from their descendants and the other princesses and work on "ways" of controlling them in case they find out and get angry. Meanwhile demons discover the existence of the "titans" and work on finding ways to defeat them (Get Humans of their own or something).

Ghosts of the Battlefield

Every dozen or so Millennia in the world of Equis. A massive roaming horde of demons/monsters would descend on the world, flying on wings and stripping/destroying civilizations like a horde of locust. Some would fight, others would flee and a few would surrender all they have on the vague hope of survival. The demons would then retreat after becoming satisfied with their path of looting and filled would disappear as fast as they appeared, only to return again to renew the cycle. The survivors would soon either forget this and letting it fall into the annals of legend then the winds of time, some would die off leaving a vague warning about this threat.

This idea starts with the next cycle and the Equestrians preparing to fight back against this threat. With the neighboring countries going silent or already engaged in fights of their own.... and losing. Celestia sees that she and her forces will not survive. The more war-like and experienced country falling with ease to this threat, with her forces, tempered by centuries of peace and without any experience in war. She decides that for survival... every other option becomes available.

She turns to her fellow princesses and convinces them to engage in a "dark" ritual to call back the spirits of the dead to the land of the living, Spirits of the deceased soldiers from the more "brutal" times of Equestria into a tangent form of existence. Seeing that their experience, training and knowledge would perhaps help give their descendants a small glimmer of hope.

However, they had to "modify" a dark ritual intended to work for one recently deceased soul.... they had to change it to summon a few hundred thousand from centuries ago. This obviously does not go as planned due to a variety of factors and it ends up with them getting spirits of soldiers alright.... it's just that it's the wrong species.

They summon the spirits of Human soldiers and airmen from throughout our history, armed with what they were carrying, using or riding during their time of death and very very confused at where they are, what are they doing here with "THEM" (Them being the enemy they were fighting when alive) and why are they looking a bit "ethereal". Normally you would expect that these souls to go on a rampage from being ripped from their peaceful afterlife. However, these souls are rather excited at being given a second chance at life, some claiming that it was getting boring back "their" or others wanting to continue to what they did in life.

Now the Pony's have to work and fight together with the "ghosts" of soldiers from a mythological race, while the spirits are getting a new handle on their existence and with the constant argument of arguing with the other spirits on whose training methods was better for the ponies.

Greaser summoning *Adopted by GundamDragon*

In the world of Equis. Their exists a way of magic that is widely available to every race and almost not anyone will get it, except for a lucky few. Users of this magic are highly valued due to the versatility, power and perhaps sheer awe at their tips. This magic is known as "summoning", a art that is virtually unknown to outsiders and only somewhat known innately by it's users but only enough to use.

This "magic" would allow it's users to summon a being, whether it be ancient spirits of the land, a long lost deity of some ancient religion or perhaps some mighty being, golem or monster. The one thing in common is that all of them may or will have great power to either shape the land, access to ancient wisdom/knowledge or even secrets long forgotten and that they all obey their summoner.

This idea would follow Twilight (or some unknown pony) who would start with the ritual which would allow them to see if they were able to use "summoning" magic and if possible unlock the ability to summon. Twilight (or other Pony) would start the ritual and then once it was confirmed . She feels something unlock within her and in her excitement heads somewhere to summon it. Slightly excited/nervous and heading to a clearing to summon what she hopes would be a wise, mighty or even awe-inspiring being.

She starts it and soon she sees what looks like a bunch of beings in black leather jackets, greased back hair. Expecting to summon something a bit bigger, she is disappointed. She is even more disappointed when she finds out that they can't use or have "magic" (except for "greaser" magic, like pulling out weapons and etc from thin air, riding vehicles and with more of "greasers" appearing from nowhere) they don't know anything before they were summoned and that they constantly forgo calling her by name and referring her to "boss".

Twilight now has to deal with her "summons" who somehow have the ablity to ignore her orders, constantly get into fights with each other to be the her "second", find out what their "good" for (besides somehow beating a full-grown dragon with a variety of weapons from pipes and small arms, ramming it with vehicles and her "second" somehow getting on it's head and shoving a stiletto in it's ear and hung on for dear life)

God-Machines

Humanity was once a galactic power in a lonely galaxy devoid of other life-forms and soon reached a golden age where we walked as if we were gods, with technology that would be impossible, inventions that can create or shatter entire planets/stars and the ablity to control even life/death itself. However with all Golden ages their must end eventually. Starting with small insignificant spark at one point that soon spreads too the others and eventually set the universe aflame.

As soon as the flame died down, Humanity was thrown into a dark ages for Millenniums. Their technology and knowledge of the golden age eventually becoming heavily mixed up with religion and mythology. Eventually this would lead to the scatted planets of Humanity to take to the stars once more albeit in a more medieval mindset (as they view the technology of the lost golden age as the "magic" of the gods, With scientists being viewed as magicians, those with lost tech to bring the dead back to life viewed as necromancers, doctors known as priests and etc). Soon over the centuries the scattered Humans in the universe begin to unify into factions, based around their beliefs and religions.

The balance of power being maintained by a individuals in each faction with access to a "golden Age" war-bots known as "Demi-gods" (with the users adopting names from Human Myth) which can cause great life or death, and can extend some of it to their pilots allowing to use "magic" and have unique abilities (Thru nano-machines and very advanced tech). Though whenever the pilot or machine dies, it will launch it's "indestructible" to the stars to hide and wait till it is recovered and chooses another pilot. If activated once again it would begin to eventually rebuild it's body to assists it's new pilot and then stride to battle or life once more.

This idea starts in Equestria, as Twilight (or some other pony) going thru the archives or history in a museum or something would stumble upon a perfectly spherical ball of metal in storage, with legends stating that it fell from the sky many millennia ago and that no matter what it can never be destroyed or scratched. She pokes (or something) and it soon begins to activate. Eventually she ends up with something that resembles a small robot of some kind that constantly follows her around in a protective kind of way. She's bit unaware that over time it seems to be getting bigger, while she's been feeling a bit stronger whenever it's near her .

However what the pony doesn't know was that when the "demi-god" was reactivated, it sent a signal thru the galaxy alerting to all of the existing "Demi-gods" that another of their kin has awoken and not just a normal one. It was one of the first models known "God-machines", the grandfather to the weaker "demi-god" models and canceled due to costs, time and etc. The remaining ones lost in the war and/or to time.

This model is able to technically devastate entire continents, and in time be able to terraform or smash entire worlds, not to mention that in the right hands it can conquer the current galaxy. This makes for a very tempting target as "Demi-gods" and their pilots from every the factions flock to their star-ships and head to Equestria to either claim, conquer or convince the Pilot to join their faction........ They are also all unaware that alien even exist and are going to be in for a surprise.
