I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo and Atlus did another crossover. Given how well received TMS#FE was. And given Persona is Atlus' biggest cash cow right now, it'd definitely be a success.
THEN AGAIN...Considering how crazy Nintendo of America went with the localization of SMT#FE, I'm not sure Atlus would want to do a crossover game again.
Then AGAIN, AGAIN. Atlus of Japan doesn't really have much concern for the Western market, as has been demonstrated several times. Prefering to leave it to Atlus USA. So that crossover could happen. :/ Nintendo will need huge games for the Switch, and a Persona/Nintendo franchise WOULD be a system seller for people like me.

I mean... It would be the first T-rated Pokemon game ever catering to older fans, so there's a start. I haven't played TMS yet but I hear it's pretty good. Actually, I think it isn't too far from Persona if you really think about it. The FE characters (mirages), the combat mechanics, y'know. But what do I know, I'm just the guy who literally just got into the Persona series.
And failing miserably.
BTW, you're the go-to guy when it comes to Persona, right? How do you think the plot of a Pokemon x Persona game would go? I would make one myself but... y'know... the whole not-knowing-what-Persona-is-about thing kinda holds me back on that front.
Actually, I just thought of an idea. I know I'll probably abandon the project like I have so many other things in the past, but why don't I make whatever story you come up with my latest fanfiction? If you're interested and accepting of the fact I'll probably ruin it later down the line, PM me and I'll explain what I want you to do.

I heard that Atlus recently said in an interview that they are really interested in the Switch and that the Persona-series would fit well to it. I take from it that at least ports of the first four games are a possibility.

I have to say, after this blog I was actually brainstorming ideas for such a crossover (not sure if I ever would've written something, I just love coming up with all these ideas) and so far I'm a little bit scared at how similar my ideas have been to yours so far (that, and the realization Pokemon really lacks in memorable male characters)

Lacks memorable... Wait, what?! Silver, N, Ghetsis, Barry, Cheren and Red. There! Six memorable male characters from Pokemon right off the top of my head! Bam!
But I wouldn't mind hearing what your brainstormed ideas were, actually! I'll talk to Kirito about them and we'll see about implementing them if we like them enough. That's not to say they're bad, we just already have a story planned out.
