Don't go into fics of that genre just to tell everyone that you dislike them.
I'm not saying this from personal experience, I'm saying this from seeing countless examples of people going onto clopfics or gorefics and just saying shit like "Dude this is so messed up what the fuck downvote."
If you don't like a fic for a reason that is the writers fault, go ahead and dislike it. If their writing style is bad or their pacing sucks or their concept is just not a good one, go ahead and dislike it. Don't dislike a fic just because it's genre isn't what you enjoy.
If the genre isn't something that you like to read (gore, clop, etc), then why even read it in the first place?

I read that as a double negative, which I usually can make sense of, but this one is a little trickier to comprehend. Either way, though, it was a reasonably worded question, you're probably just slow-minded.
And dicks or not, at least they would know enough by cover pictures and the synopsis to dislike it without reading.

Of course critiques are fine, and downvoting is okay. But, if you're going to announce to the world that you downvoted, you better expect to explain why. Just remember that someone [most likely] worked hard on that story and just outright saying you hated it and nothing else is plain wrong. No, I'm not being politically correct.
