Kong: Skull Island Review · 3:38am Mar 13th, 2017
Just saw Kong: Skull Island for the first time, and oh my god was it awesome. I had a thrill ride watching this movie and I did not take my eyes off the movie. The cast did an amazing job with their roles. The effects were great. Kong himself was just brutal and highly entertaining throughout the film. His fights with the skull Crawlers were fun and action packed. The story is as like any Kong movie, but without the New York and Empire State Building ending. In fact, Kong might've likely been as big as the building itself, I think. Samuel L Jackson, John Goodman, Tom Huddleston and John C Reilly were great and fun to watch. The whole movie was a ton of fun to watch. There were some shocking moments and an unexpected death that I shall not say (no spoilers). There were some flaws in the film I can't deny, but they don't harm the film at all in my opinion.
I give Kong: Skull Island a B+
Oh, and the film has an after credit scene. Lets just say.... prepare for 2019. The hype just went Godzilla-sized. lol
I saw that movie not that long ago and I'm with you, but that after credit scene!
That was worth is the price of admission alone.
