Valiant Charge

Why do we fight? To protect home and family, to preserve balance and bring harmony. The true question is not why we fight but rather "What is worth fighting for?"

    Hiatus

Aside from the renovations, my grandpa had to be hospitalized yesterday so I can't really focus on my writing. Apologies to all my readers but I need to get things in order first before I start writing again.

Newest Star vs. The Forces of Evil · 8:49am Feb 28th, 2017

Loved the new song! Hate that it took so long for Star to admit her feelings towards marco.

I seriously hope they reveal more details into the royal families history since it seems like Toffe knows an awful lot about the wands magic.

Once, in the eve of civilization, a story was told. A story about great dragons and monsters, horrible beasts. This was the Rule of Fear; in so long as the humans feared the monsters, they could not lose sight of victory. The humans rallied under this battlecry and exalted their leader, Mewni, a great man who sought greater power. The army led campaign after campaign against the monsters, growing more powerful. And one day, a city was born, one that shared the name of their great leader.

The truth came when a group of humans found a stone in the wilderness. It glowed, enchanting them. They brought it to their leader, and when he reached his hand outward, the stone rejected him. Scarred was his flesh from that moment on, his hands becoming claws and his skin turning to scales. He was what he had trained his people to fear, and he paid the price.

The Mewnis told a new story from that day on, one that would mask the horrible truth. They sung of the wand that they had forged from the stone, the great monarchs and princesses and queens that had sprung from the royal line, and the peace their nation experienced. But the Man Who Was Beast was spoken of the least in their histories, whispered in dark rooms among foolish people who did not understand the name they had evoked. These men spoke of the foe walking through the night in the vast wilderness, existing throughout all the dimensions, building invisible strongholds. The only evidence of these claims was the some erratic movements of groups of monsters; and so such claims were dismissed purely as fear-mongering.

Until, of course, the rule of Queen Butterfly.
