New Story - Finally

It took me long enough to get this thing together. For a lot of people, nine months isn't that long a time, but it is the longest I have spent on any single story. Babbling on posting schedule and such under the break.

So far my posting history has been either one-shot stories or stories with only a few chapters. I'm happy to say that a little later this afternoon I will be changing that by posting the first chapter of a multi-chaptered story. It's not all quite done yet, but I've written myself a big enough buffer that there should be a new chapter posted every week without fail until the story is complete.

"But Tim, what could this story be?" you might be asking.

Well, I don't want to give too many details away, but it is a bit of an unconventional pairing written as an ongoing gift for a dear friend of mine, auramane.

I mean, if you want to call Nurse Redheart x Spitfire "unconventional." Maybe unheard of?

This was a project I started in June for auramane's birthday after we talked about what a RedheartxSpitfire (RedFire?) shipping story might look like. Though crackfic-y, I will say that this has been a lot of fun to work on over the last several months. With lots of freedom to develop these characters and how a relationship between them might blossom, I was able to play around with things and the result is something I hope people will like.

You can expect to see the story published later today, and then a new chapter will be posted every week barring any unforeseen roadblocks.

Oh, and tomorrow is Pokemon Day! Happy early Pokemon Day >:D
