    A quick clarification

I felt like I should explain why the final chapter will take a week more to get out, even though it's been written already.

For starters, I briefly considered putting out the last two together, but I felt that the final chapter of my oldest story deserved a little more hype than that - and you lot seem to like it, despite my terrible scheduling!

    Crystal Heart 3D Model

I got bored tonight and decided to mathematically reconstruct a 3D model of the Crystal Heart as of S6E1 ("The Crystalling - Pt. 1"). It's 3D printable, scaled to 'actual size' (near as anyone can tell, at any rate), and took me about 2 hours to make, mainly because I had to calculate a bunch of lengths and angles using 2D projection. Enjoy!

    A "Brief" Guide to Equestria

I started work on this because I was very bored. Basically, it's a running reference guide of all the technology, materials, societocultural aspects, and other various notes I could make on the world of MLP: FIM.

    [Hello again!]

[Hello all! It's been quite a while, has it not?]

[Anyway, I've been adding a few things to the universe, and I may have gotten just a little bit carried away, and... well, to put it bluntly, there's a lot more story than there was in the old version.]

Robotics Progress · 3:32am Feb 10th, 2017

Alright, so I've begun work on the Chrysalis robot. I'm planning to have it be able to fly and walk, though flying's going to be difficult unless I make the thing less than about 5 pounds total. Ornithopters are weird like that.

After searching around for a suitably light but strong substance, I came across fiberglass. Normally I don't like fiberglass, because it's sticky, irritating, can cause lung cancer, and is just about impossible to wash out. However, I managed to make two pieces of a limb.

Speaking of the limbs, I've switched over to nitinol as the preferred method of bending the limbs and neck. It doesn't take a whole lot of current, is very strong even in wire form, and doesn't require nearly as much calculation as an equivalent bimetallic strip would.

Finally, I'm making an ultra-HD model of Queen Chrysalis for printing purposes! Sorry about the low resolution of the picture, I promise it's much better-looking in Sketchup. : /

I might turn this into a 3D-printed figure later, if I can work out a suitably cool pose...
