    Character Transcript Generator

I'm not a coder by any means, but I dabble in Python sometimes. A while ago, I decided that it would be helpful if there was a way to browse the FiM Wiki transcript page by character--to research character voice, for example. I've been using it for a few months now, and I'm posting it here in the hopes that someone

    Changed Mares stealth update.

I just added a 2000ish word scene to the end of Chapter 3 of Changed Mares. It would have been weird to start a new chapter with it, so I just appended it to the end of the previous chapter. It's nothing special, but if you're really eager for proof that I'm actually working on this, then here you go.

    On the Nature of Alicorns

Hello everyone. This is just a quick blog post to say that On the Nature of Alicorns is already completed at eight chapters and an epilogue, and I'll post a chapter every day until it's done. I hope you all enjoy it.

    Thanks!

Use this:
Google Drive Link

It contains a pandoc script written by HeirOfNorton that will convert Markdown, HTML, RTF, and DOCX formats to Fimfiction compatible BBCode.

In order to use it, install Pandoc. Then drop any text file of the above formats into the "in" folder, run one of the two batch files--both space out paragraphs, one of them also indents--and your converted file will be written in the "out" folder as a .bbcode file which can be opened in any plain text editor. From there you can copy-paste the contents directly into Fimfiction's chapter editor and publish.

Disclaimer: Full credit to HeirOfNorton for doing the hard part--writing the script. All I did was set up the batch files.
