Drink = a sip, while Finish your drink means what it says!
***Global Rules***
Take a drink whenever:
- the opening or closing sequence plays
If you choose to skip either, you must finish your drink. Shame on you!
- somepony refers to 'friendship'
Additionally, you must say "Friendship is Magic!" or finish your drink
- anypony drinks something, even if it's just hotsauce
Additionally, you must say "Confound these ponies! They drive me to drink" or finish your drink
- anypony refers to Princess Celestia
Additionally, you must say "Another thousand years!" or finish your drink
Supporters of the New Lunar Republic may choose to say "Down with the Tyrant!" instead
- Derpy Hooves appears on screen
Additionally, if Derpy talks, you must finish your drink
- any other fan-favourite background pony appears (e.g. Octavia, DJ-P0N3 etc.)
- Big Mac says "Eee-yup" or "Eeey-nope"
- Lyra and Bon Bon appear onscreen together
- somepony starts singing
Additionally, you must sing along with the song or finish your drink. It's okay if you mangle some of the lyrics - nopony is perfect!
- anypony claps (clops?) their hooves or brohoofs another pony
- a pony grabs another's tail
- a pony-related pun is made e.g. "Neighsayers", "Fillydelphia"
- somepony's mane is ruined
- a background pony speaks
You may also take a drink whenever you feel like it!
Finish your drink whenever:
- the Elements of Harmony are used
- anypony uses the expression "Best X ever!"
You may also finish your drink whenever you feel like it!
***Character-Specific Rules***
Twilight Sparkle
Take a drink whenever Twilight:
- tinkers with any sort of mad-scientist technology.
Additionally, you must say "For science!" or finish your drink
- acts soppy towards Celestia
- teleports
- is seen reading a book
- sighs in exasperation
Finish your drink whenever Twilight:
- loses it i.e. goes crazy or explodes in anger
Pinkie Pie
Take a drink whenever Pinkie:
- says the word 'party'
- refers to a Pinkie promise
- breaks the Equestrian laws of physics somehow (ie. appears at two places at once; outruns Rainbow Dash etc.)
- is accused of being lol random XD
- uses some kind of ridiculous contraption
- eats something
Finish your drink whenever Pinkie:
- breaks the fourth wall
- appears with straight hair (Dweeb mode: only do this once in Party of One)
Rarity
Take a drink whenever Rarity:
- changes her outfit
- says "Fabulous!"
- says "darling".
- says "I-de-a!"
Finish your drink whenever Rarity:
- gets covered in mud
Fluttershy
Take a drink whenever Fluttershy:
- says 'um'
- says "If that's okay with you"
- squeaks or squees
- flees in fear or falls onto her side like a fainting goat
- is abused by Angel in some way
Finish your drink whenever Fluttershy:
- assaults somepony (Dweeb mode: only do this once in Putting Your Hoof Down)
Applejack
Take a drink whenever Applejack:
- mentions the word 'apple'
Hardcore mode: This includes 'Applebloom' and the other members of the Apple clan
- calls somepony 'sugarcube'
- makes a home-spun oath of some sort, e.g. "Oh, ponyfeathers!"
- cries "Yeehaw!"
- says "Whoa!" or "Whoa, Nelly!"
- refers to something as being 'fancy'
- uses her lasso
Finish your drink whenever Applejack:
- is seen wearing girlie clothes for whatever reason
Rainbow Dash
Take a drink whenever Rainbow:
- uses the word 'awesome'
- knocks anypony over
- creates a raincloud
- mentions the Wonderbolts
- takes a nap
Finish your drink whenever Rainbow:
- performs a sonic rainboom
Spike
Take a drink whenever Spike:
- says "Aw, jeeze!"
- eats a gemstone
- runs away from danger
- appears wearing an apron
- gets lovesick around Rarity
- sends or receives mail
- yawns or states that he's sleepy
- has to put a book back for Twilight
Finish your drink whenever Spike:
- bursts into tears
The Cutie Mark Crusaders
Take a drink whenever a member of the CMC:
- says "Cutie Mark Crusader Whatevers!"
- gets covered in mud or something similar
- complains that they'll "never get their cutie mark"
- unwittingly causes some kind of destruction
Princess Celestia
Take a drink whenever Princess Celestia:
- refers to Twilight as her 'faithful student'
***Episode Specific Rules***
Griffon the Brush-Off
Take a drink whenever:
- Gilda calls somepony "Dweeb"
Boast Busters
Take a drink whenever:
- somepony says "The Great and Powerful Trixie"
Swarm of the Century
Take a drink whenever:
- a parasprite reproduces
A Dog and Pony Show
Take a drink whenever:
- somepony says the word "whining"
Green Isn't Your Color
Take a drink whenever:
- Photo Finish says "I go!"
Over A Barrel
Take a drink whenever:
- somepony says 'Appleloosa!'
***Catchphrases***
Whenever a character says one of these famous catchphrases, you must say it along with them and then finish your drink.
Twilight Sparkle: All the ponies in this town are crazy!
Rarity: It. Is. On!
Pinkie Pie: Foreeeever!
Applejack: I didn't learn anythin'! Ha! I was right all along!
Rainbow Dash: It needs to be about 20% cooler.
Fluttershy: Yay.
Spike: "Can you do that? Can you explode twice?"
Luna: The fun has been doubled!
Been a while since I've checked up on Miss Butterscotch Sundae. I feel a little bit ashamed for not doing so. She was one of the best things to happen to my life when I found ponies and started getting curious about the fan base.
Followed these rules as best as we could.
My friends and I got halfway through "Return of Harmony."
