Christ it's been a while. I'm honestly surprised to even see notifications here anymore considering I've basically died with a plethora of unfinished projects sitting here and more than one broken promise. I suppose an explanation is in order for anyone who cares to read this, the few of you who do.
As for why I slowly went MIA and died and becoming inactive after finishing Cyberfire, the answer is... complicated. In short, real life events took over with me working through a Physics degree in college with not much time to do much of anything. But, there's another reason as well. Essentially, I decided to go and find myself, at least as a writer. I haven't stopped writing, but I haven't been doing it here, unfortunately. Quite frankly, I keep coming back to this place because of what it gave me in terms of a crash course in writing. The lessons I learned here and the experiences I've had have been invaluable to me in ways I probably won't understand until later. But as for what's been taking up my time recently is this.
Essentially, I'm trying to go pro with my writing. Considering the nature of this site, much of what I've written over the past two years hasn't ended up here. But I am close to completing a major manuscript that I am planning to send to a few publishers in the coming months, maybe even the coming weeks depending.

I've always enjoyed your stories on this site, but I can understand the appeal of writing outside of it to expand your borders and improve your writing ability. If you manage to publish your novel, please make sure to make a post about it so we can read it.
