Hey all, TheDudeAbides here.
So as you know, I'm a painfully slow writer when it comes to writing stuff for public consumption. Because of this, I typically get very frustrated with my process and as such, progress goes even slower.
I wanted to let you know that yes, I am still planning on finishing these stories I had planned. I know there are quite a few out there that have been looking forward to some new stories and I do not want to disappoint.
As for why everything has been going slower, it's mostly because of work (which, while it pays pretty well, is very hectic) and having a hard time scheduling things around it. There were also some rather large life events that went on this past year that metaphorically slammed my face into pavement. It was hard to move on from this.
If I promised to look over something you were writing and ended up not being able to, I'm really sorry. I know you want my feedback and I am humbled that you came to me for guidance. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to help.
I still am working on the stories every now and then. I don't know when they'll come out but I'll try to get them out when I can. I'm sorry there's not really a definitive date, I don't have the luxury of being able to control how busy I am.
Yay, you're not dead / quit the fandom / other bad things!
I hope things get better or easier for you to manage soon.
