You can't get to the light without walking through the dark first. There are twists and turns and sometimes it feels as if the light has disapeared, but it is there. You just have to look.

I'm back!! (also, proofreader/editor needed! details within) · 4:39am Dec 6th, 2016

Hello everyone!

It's been awhile since I made one of these. I don't know what went on with me...didn't feel like doing much of anything but being with family (and my dogs) for a while there. Plus I've been really busy, what with it being the holiday season and all! I've been going almost every which way since about a week before Thanksgiving. This week is going to be really filled up; sissy has ballet performances and I'm in a musical production, all in the SAME WEEKEND! My sister has the Nutcracker ballet dress rehearsal tomorrow night and Thursday night with performances Friday morning, Friday night and Saturday night, then for me it's dress rehearsal Thursday night, watching my sister perform Friday night, another dress rehearsal Saturday morning, then the show on Saturday night and a second showing on Sunday night. Then I'm up to my grandmother's for a few days rest, then it's back into the craziness that it Christmas. Shopping, food menu, making sure my animals don't ruin anything. Then finally it's a break, until New Year's and all it's festivities and resolutions. Of course it's the usual thing, but I am determined to lose weight this coming year. I'm not what is very overweight, as I'm active and I do have quite a bit of muscle mass. I just like potatoes, bread, cake, cookies and pie too much:scootangel: which has not done my poor knee well at all! Old injury really starting to bother me a lot these days! So, it's either lose about 25 pounds or risk making my knee worse than it already is. I choose saying good bye to my precious carbs!

Anywho, all that aside, my creativity is back and, if you are reading All's Fair in Love & War, you'll see that last week I published a new chapter! And somehow, I have found the time to crank out another chapter and a half! They're short, the completed chapter being under 2,000 words and the unfinished one just over 1,100 words. Which brings me to my next subject;

I need a proof reader/editor that can go over chapters a few days before I publish. Getting the chapters to you on a "schedule" will not happen and the pay sucks (in fact, it's non existent), but (hopefully), you'll be getting pretty good reading material with minimal mistakes. And you'll be the first (well, to be technical, you'll be the second) person to read it!

If you want to be my pre-reader/editor, shoot me a PM and we'll work out the kinks. Requirements are for you to be able to fix minor grammar & spelling mistakes (or maybe major, I don't know. What I can say is that my story writing isn't this...zig-zag, all over the place mumbo jumbo..at least I don't think it is...), fix sentence layout if needed (though sometimes I prefer the original layout) and be able to use google docs.

I hope everyone has had a great week. Lots of love to all!
