    UK Ponycon 2017 21 - 22/10/2017

As I've returned safely home I like to share my thoughts of this year's UK Ponycon. This won't be a full blog just a ramble really. I may get round to a full blog work permitting.

Bronyscot Blog · 8:10pm Nov 18th, 2016

This is my first blog and it about my time in Scotland for Bronyscot. I may yet do a blog of my time at UK Ponycon too.

Firday 18th November

The Firday before a con is always travel day and this was no exception. I left my house and headed to Loughborough Junction for a Thameslink train as it's quick and free for me. The train was 19 minutes late due to poor rail conditions and by the time I got to St Pancras low level I was kinda pushing it. After a short walk I arrived at London Euston and as I had my ticket already I waited for the 1030 to Glasgow Central. When the train was called I made my way to platform 15 and started to look for a seat. I was lucky to take the only non reserved seats in the coach I was in. After 4 and a half hours I arrived a Glasgow and once there I went for a walk to Charing Cross where my hotel is. After checking in the Premier Inn and dumping my stuff I went to find the place where the con was to be held. Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel was where con was to be held and although it's a 5 minute ride on the Clockwork Orange I needed to see how long the walk was for Saturday night once the con was finished. After a 25 minute walk in cold rain I found the Grosvenor Hotel. Happy in knowing where I was going I went for a ride on the Clockwork orange and found how to use the tickets confusing.

Now Saturday will be the main event and here to a good one.
