Hello every pony, I have been working on a secret project to help me get my mind off some projects that i thought of but can't get the wording down completely. I would like to say that te project has a name it is called, The Labyrinth. It is a gloom/dark fic and i will not be releasing any details. I will need a proofreader anyone who can do good at it is great, and i really want it to look 20% better.

369639 Also i need some advice, This is my first time looking for a proofreader and i really don't know how it works, my last fics I didn't need one because it was built on simpleness. But this fic I'm working on is my first real project, which is running on 4000 words right now I' aiming for 10,000, and to make it more stressful it's a one shot gloom fic. I tried making A dark fic for my first fanfic and it didn't go that well.

well the easiest way is to get your story into a proof-readers group, or find someone who's in one and ask them to do it. occasionally, someone helpful like me will come along and volunteer their services, but those times are few and far between. you really just have to be persistent in seeking out people who are willing to help (and btw, there is a difference between proof-reader groups and groups that are dedicated to flaming really bad stories. if you seek out the "flame bad stories" groups, chances are you won't get any help from them whatsoever)
369645 I'm running on one hour of sleep i was up all night figuring out a good way to continue the story and type down. My internet got knocked down twice so i had to reset the modem and continue.

369653 Ya, but it was worth it i finally got it down and finally went to bed. I still got to do the four other ponies, and finding creative ways to make it dark and gloomy is a challenge.

try taking inspiration (though not out-and-out plagiarism) from good dark/sad books that you've read
369655 Well I get my inspirations from dark fics like Rainbow Factory, and Cheerlies garden. They do such a great job with the dark scenery that it inspired me to do dark fics. My story is 99% percent original, but most my inspirations came from other fics which in hindsight I'm not trying to rip off from them I'll trying to make a story surrounding the same type of darkness and sadness. My first fic, the inspiration for that came from the fic Cupcakes.

There ya go, I have to warn you tho. Since i learned to put commas and periods It may seem a bit unrealistic and over the top. After I'm done with my big project, I'm rewriting the whole story, and add some more character's.
