Regarding the Top Bolt episode. Is it just me, or is Vapor Trail a student of Gale King?
Some background.
A while back a user called moguera created the Savage Skies series, which featured plenty of over the top action sequences and some bat-shit crazy martial arts. It has some pretty overt anime influences and it took me some time to warm up to it, but after that it was a fun ride. The main character in the series is a student of Gale King, an ancient form of pegasus martial arts, and part of their style was doing stuff similar to what Vapor was doing in the show, although with much, much greater force. I won't spoil it for you, you can find the first entry in the series here.
