    Is it just me...

Or is knighty being a bit of a dictator recently? Like, I'm not saying all of the recent changes have been bad (although there are certainly a few I dislike), but the part that's truly disappointing is that he never asked the users about anything. He just laid down the law, said "This is how it's going to be." Not gonna lie, ever since TWE was demolished, I've started to lose interest in

    I'm... back?

Yeah, internet works now (finally)!. But oddly enough, I'm not filled with a burning desire to write and edit the shit out of everything.

    TWE deleted?

I have to say, I definitely think this was the wrong decision. I'm trying to be as objective as possible here (as I am [or was,] a member of the group), and I still think that so much went wrong here. For one, the main reason, it seems, is because authors were complaining about being insulted. TWE expressly forbids hacking at authors. There's a world of difference between insulting someone

The latest chapter of What I Failed to Recognise is live now, slightly behind schedule. Sorry about that! You can find it here, as usual.

So I just reread one of my favourite classic fantasy novels - Brian Jaques' Redwall. Being the foolish and ambitious writer that I am, I started to consider writing an MLP crossover. This is a terrible terrible idea. I love it. Mostly I would just be writing it for myself. Has anyone here even read that book?

Holy bucking Celestia, yes. Redwall is a brilliant book.

That is all.

367935 Well I think it's something I'd like to try at some point, because of course you're right. But it's a long long long term thing, I have no good ideas yet, and I have too many works going on right now. If a brilliant idea strikes me one day, we may be seeing a mouse/hare/otter in Equestria fic :D

Well, if in the far flung future you do decide to write it, I would definetely read it.

369008 Awesome, that's like a 100% increase in projected viewers!

369040 I remember loving that one too. Also the Outcast of Redwall and also the original novel from 1986... So much nonstalgia :pinkiesad2:
