You know... I feel disgusted with myself, just a bit.
Because even though it's gotten a bit better, even though it's been chugging along and has a following, I CANNOT bring myself to feel anything other than disgust for RainbowDoubleDash's Lunaverse... And honestly, it's not so bad right now, as far as I know. I haven't read stories of it in about a year, I think, but I did just cruise the TVTropes pages out of boredom.
Yet, just because of two things, one being worked on and the other long since dealt with, I can't get into it... Why the heck is that?!
I feel bad because I DID like a couple of stories in this universe, yet I dislike the entire product as a whole over a mere couple of issues that aren't really that big a set of issues. -_- It's so damn stupid of me.
Those issues are the Early Installment Weirdness of Zecora being a back-stabber and Corona/L!Celestia being murderous toward foals, and the whole LONG LONG LONG gone Night Court political tripe.
Yet, here I am, posting about how I feel guilty not giving the rest of the Lunaverse another chance even though I recall liking but forgetting the names of some stories in it, and... ugh.
I'm disgusted with myself. I'm... just going to read out of my bird-watching guide now.
The Lunaverse I think suffered from too much input from fans, and given the fandom era it was started in it is no surprise it went a bit far.
