Oh my god, was this movie fantastic! It's been 12 years since Toho made another Godzilla movie and the wait was worth for me. This movie was genuine Godzilla thrown in with extra twists and surprises. I was in the theater smiling like a child who got to see Santa for the first time. I was entertained throughout the movie. The special effects were amazing; The characters, good; the plot, like every other Godzilla movie but with different twists and turns; Godzilla himself was huge and terrifying and a force to be reckon with; the music, fantastic. This is probably the best entry of Godzilla since 1954 and GMK (in my own opinion). Humor was there but it was all serious throughout. 12 years since Toho last made a Godzilla movie; this year was worth the wait.
