Where the Apple Lies review · 8:05pm Oct 8th, 2016
Hello there. Another week another episode. This time we see a lot of history with the Apple family, namely how Applejack learned to always be honest and why Big Mac isn't very eloquent. Considering the last Applejack central episode was Applejacks "day" off and it wasn't that great let's see how this one holds up. My thoughts below.
I thought this was a much better Applejack episode. It was nice to see why Applejack thinks honesty is the best policy. It's because she once told a little white lie and it quickly snowballed into a huge fiasco, with Big Mac almost getting pruned. Also. can I just say that it was super nice to hear Big Mac speak more than just his two words. It reminds me of Brotherhooves Social, which was one of my favorite episodes from last season. The reason why he only says those two phrases was also covered in this episode, which was a question I've had for a while, since we know he can speak and yet he doesn't. My major question being "Why?" It turns out that he decided to talk less and listen more. Which is a pretty important lesson. Just because you think you're right, doesn't mean you shouldn't let others offer their opinion. Maybe they have a perspective you didn't think about before. That's about all I've got to say about "where the apple lies". Sorry it's so brief but I've got tests in college this week and I need to study for them. Next week, we'll be examining some bolts.
