Why I called myself a Failure · 10:37pm Oct 6th, 2016
Yesterday, my 'friend', you know, the gay one? Who moved away? Yeah. He said that he was never really my friend, and that he was using me to get some boy he liked. He called me a failure for many reasons.
1. I'm not a good friend
2. I suck at everything physical
3. I'm fat
4. I'm ugly
5. I'm stupid
6. I'm not funny
And that's only a small handful of them. He said this, not me. He hasn't been bullied, he was paying the bullies to put on an act. How I learned this was because one of the bullies told me he was sorry for lying to me, and that he'll be my friend if I let him. I said yes (I don't hold grudges). I'm just shocked. I feel very depressed right now, so yeah.
If he told you these things, and he manipulated people just to make you feel bad, then he's the scumbag. Not you.
Don't let anyone tell you that you're anything less than what you truly are. What you are is only something you can decide, not some punk with too much time and not enough self-worth. You're better than that kid. Just by getting up, dusting yourself off, and moving on as if nothing happened, you're better than him. Because it trivializes everything he did, and makes his efforts that much more worthless and wasteful.
If only he says you're a failure, he's lying. And if you believe him, you'd be living a lie. Be true to yourself, not some fool who doesn't know you. You listen to yourself, not some dirtbag, and you be what you want, not what said dirtbag says you are.
I hope all that helps. And remember, you have friends here. And none of us think you are a failure.
