So, as many of you will have heard by now, I've been booted from the Ponyfall Collaboration. They had their reasons, many of which were legitimate. I've been extremely slow in updating (as I'm sure you're all aware) and I allowed my pride to get in the way of change. I harbor no ill will towards them, and I hope that none of you decide to as a result of this.
Now, as to what that means for me personally. I will still be continuing Moonrise. I already have the next chapter written, as well as half of the next one. Once I'm done editing, I will be posting it, so expect it tomorrow. Being out of the collab removes a lot of restrictions that I had to work around. As such, I'm free to go as dark as I want when the time comes. Be prepared for it, because it will come about soon enough.
This whole mess is a bit of a blessing in disguise, as it allows me to go into full focus on Royal Road, which is coming along nicely. Sooooooooooon. We'll be doing full launch once commissions are done. (To allay concerns now before it begins, we'll be spacing out the fic launches in order to not clog the featured box)
This brings me to my next item: Commissions. If any of my watchers/followers/”who the hell is this person and why am I reading this blog” people are artists, contact me in the comments or in PM, or track me down on the IRC chat. We need art, be it digital, traditional, multimedia, poetry, everything. If you want to make some random fanart, we'd love it and feature it. If you want to make a song, we'd treasure it and toss it in where we could. Poetry, we might hire you to write for the bards (The evil evil and slightly silly bards). Anything else you can think of, we'll find some sort of word to describe enjoying it. If someone makes us a trailer, we might make it the official one of the collab. Anyone who applies gets special bonuses like looking into future events, getting behind the scenes glimpses at why things are going to go the way they are, and other such things. And possibly money, cause hey, who doesn't like money?

You have good writing style and I like how this fic started - but mind broken/mutilated ponies as well as OCs is not something I enjoy.
364912 It won't be going that dark, well, not mutilated at least... Not horribly at least... well, that'll be in an optional side chapter. Lets just say that Luna having severe mental issues culminating in her becoming NMM in the show will be a major subplot. I'm a fan of deep psychological disturbance and the silent hill series, if that gives you a hint as to my definition of dark here.
Stick around for Royal Road though, as that won't be getting particularly dark, and it's going to be awesome
