Lord of hollow, means you are becoming a hollow. And RELAX. There are two ways to stop this. Three technically.
1: use a consumable item that reduces hollowing
2: a ring Uria will sell you will make you look normal
3: (not recommended) the firekeeper can remove your dark sigils

No, there's a specific item (I believe it's called a hollowing stone. Looks like a square with a skull on it) that reduces it.
